  • Thank you for taking the time to make this enlightening video!

  • i like what you have to say and i need to know hocan i be an better christian and pray more i need all the ehlp ican get.

  • Jesus said, with faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Find good teaching so you can understand his word. Accept Jesus for the forgiveness of sin. your sins. Believe in the God with all your heart, and love your neighbor. Ask and believe.

  • You even pointed out that jesus said "ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you". There were no stipulations in these verses. If these words are true, if the bible is true, if it is true that jesus said these things, then there should be no unanswered prayer. The all powerful all knowing all present god should at least respond to all prayer sincere or not.

  • There's words are true. However, they are in context of "Father to child". No matter how sincerely a child wanted something, would you give it to them if you knew it wasn't best for them? How sincere is it for a child to then demand the parent obey them? What if they parent said no because he has something better in store for the child?

  • The issue is not weather the answer is "yes" or "no" but the fact that one gets an "answer" at all. And we are grown people and when someone promises you something, they should be obligated to follow through or be held accountable for it. Even god. Since there is none greater he swears by himself. You commented to me in earlier videos that the foundations of the universe rests on god's word. Doesn't that foundation get shakey when god doesn't live up to his word? Has he said, shall he not do it?

  • Sometime silence is the answer. Often times in the moment of silence is where you find out where you faith is. Silence is where faith can fail instead of getting stronger. "Seek the Holy Spirit" and the door will be opened. And you will gain the peace of the "Comforter". anyway, watch my video "Matthew 15: 21-28 part 2"

  • The way I interpret silence is "what do you think?". Does god permit that we take matters into our own hands? If we do that and it works out, it is said that it was of god. If we take matters in our own hands and it doesn't work out, it is said that it was not of god. This is why christians say that god cannot fail. Christians do not allow themselve to see when he does. This is one situation where there is a gaping hole.

  • This is also a situation where I can see that god is not fair. Contrary to the bible, god is a respector of person. If he answers all of your prayers and none of mine, what does that mean?

  • You have never had a prayer answered by God? Never? What about waking up in the morning in your right mind? Or is that something he is suppose to do for you? Or maybe something you just take for granted?? When some people wake up in blindness. God gives up our "daily bread of life" and yet we never say thank you. Very selfish. It's always about what we want.

  • I'll be honest with you. I used to demand an answer from god because I felt I had a right to based on what the bible said. It's like when your parents promise you something and they don't make due on it, you are allowed to say "you said". You have the right to demand what is promised you. Jesus said if two or three are gathered then the prayer will be answered. The bible christians claim is from god says this. If it is the true word of god then all sincere prayers should be answered.

  • A child has the right to make demands of their parents? I am "grown" and I still can't demand anything from my parent, how could a child do so? A child must accept the demands of the parent. Anyway, I am thankful for your open heartedness, but I don't see "sincerity" as a qualifier for answer prayer. Ultimately, it is the will of God the father. Children understand that the parent may say "No".

  • Starting at 6:30, you really spoke a word into me. A lot of times, I'm so focused on people who seem to have great and happy lives and I'm struggling. I think it's not fair. But your comment made me think differently about that.

  • good response!
