  • @7cabralm I'm glad you like it! Let me know how it goes for you.

  • @originalgrump100 You must've missed it, there was a person sitting on the tracks right before the train went by.

  • love the shot at 7:00

  • @originalgrump100 who cares it's his model train he can blast as much as he wan't actually i thnk i might even blast more with mine lol

  • Just ole' Walker dropping by again. This is a NICE looking consist! I like it, not too short, not too long & looks very realistic. The first 2 BNSF rolling parking lots, who makes those? I like that look & wouldn't mind getting a few of those. Is there an updated version of this layout so I can see how it's progressed? THX!

  • All of my locomotives are DC which is probably why the ditch lights don't flash on my units? I wasn't aware until only recently that you had to have the DCC models to have flashing lights & other options? I'm new to the hobby after some 30+ years away from it & all this new technology is mind boggling to me, lol.

  • Nice video and layout

  • @originalgrump100 How so? Please tell me how I "need to learn my horn signals"? I did do the proper long-long-short -long. There are some real engineers that like to honk the horn too.

  • @CoasterFan2105 you did it right dont listen to him believe ive seen and heard engineers do tht to so you did to me do it right and prototypical

  • @CoasterFan2105 On some nights when the California Zephyr leaves town, it honks and honks and honks and honks in theses looooooong drawn out blasts. I had no idea until I was actually on it one night as it left and heard it blaring. :) It wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't come through town in the middle of the night.

  • Very realistic sound & appearance. Nice layout you have going on there. How do you get the ditch lights to flash so perfectly like that? I have a DASH8 & a DASH9 with ditch lights but, the lights don't flash on either locomotive? What's the trick? Thanks!

  • @walkerbelle It's just the factory default for the Atlas Dash-8 with DCC & Sound. They're all programed to flash like that. Thanks!

  • @walkerbelle What kind of decoder do you have in your locomotives, if its NCE i know the trick to make them flash

  • All you need to do now is patch that Dash 8 to CN.

  • Whell see about that.

  • Really good representation of the DAYGO. Just get a huge amount of tank cars!

  • @Locomotive450 Haha, thanks!

  • wanna sell any of ur cars?

  • Naw..

  • Good one!

  • great layout you have in your club.

  • what brand is your sound ? it sound very realistic

  • QSI

  • You like your bell to much. Very nice layout.

  • Haha, thanks!

  • great layout! I'm gonna start on mine again soon.

  • i have an atlas Dash 8 #841 but in the new bnsf swoosh scheme vry nice vid!5*

  • Thanks!

  • This. Is. SWEET!!!!!!

  • I had the same engine (841?) warbonnet.... Absolutely LOVED it. I'm back into N Scale and miss that engine, although I have faith that N scale will get more advanced with the DCC Sound

  • Cool!

  • Isn't the train an 8-40cw

  • Actually, either term is correct...

  • How did you get the headlights to stay on full without the moving the train, including the ditchlights. I have a QSI decoder in 529 so I should be able to as well.

  • IDK, maybe I sill had some power in the throttle, like maybe 1. Oh, and Evan and Grant are wrong, it is 126 step, not 128. I was thinking about running this set at la mesa..

  • Ok...this would look good at La Mesa. Should be a lot of QSI sound, lol. I knew it was 126 step, if you mean the speed of course.

  • nice Dash-8! Are all of the cars yours?

  • Yup, all of the ones on the train are...

  • what code track?

  • What kind of turnouts are those that I saw in the video?

    Chesticus

  • Im really not sure, I think it's atlas flex track..

  • Nice Video Mike!!

  • Very Nice Layout Mike!!

  • Very nice, you need some heavy CAT machines on that flat car! lol, time to make the V-SBDSDG, Eh?

  • LOL, yeah..

  • and you can start with my 2cars of grafittied autorack action! Itll be a must see!

  • I think I'll pass, lol!
