I love the sound of a carb'd sbc. I just sold my 78 GMC 3/4 ton last year in order to purchase my 99 for better fuel efficiency.
Man, do I miss that truck. Had a 350 with T400 and true dual 12" glasspacks....that thing shook windows :) Nice truck, I love the square bodies. Plan on doing any body work in the future or just doing to use it a dd?
I was getting anywhere from 10 to 15mpg closer to 15 on the highway if I ran 55mph.
