@imattie707 That's the big difference between capacitive and resistive touchscreens. It needs physical pressure in using a resistive ts and u can use anything as a stylus even bbq sticks. while capacitive relies on objects that conducts electricity so u can't use it with gloves on or with a plastic stylus though there capacitive stylus are available.

It's not quite dated... just different. Resistive technology is still has the greatest sensitivity (think about that) and it is the most accurate.

IMO, The XpressMusic 5800 is much better for its price. It even has a builtin stylus...

The only difference is the camera and silly keyboard (which is hard to pop up as you may often drop your phone)

This phone costs twice as much as an XpressMusic 5800 and with the same software (exactly the same, no kidding!!! I have a 5800!!!) and just as slow.

I see no reason for the big price difference. For that price, honestly, go get an iPhone or Blackberry.

Haha it's not very fast.... I can't see how you find it to be fast... Are you kidding me?

There is no blind passage through the menu, for every item you click, you must wait at least 0.5 seconds before advancing. It's a very low processor phone, which is why its predecessor the XM 5800 was sold very cheap.

iPhone is best for utilities.

Blackberry for business.

Nokia (some) for expensive equipment that OCCASIONALLY beats the others (though you pay twice the price).

IF you want the best phone for price, the only choice is the Xpress Music 5800. It's better than this in portability has 99% of the same functions except for the keyboard but costs less than 1/2 the price. I have that phone. It's worth it. It plays great movies really well. BUT as I said its processor is relatively weak, so playing heavy games is NOT an option as its very laggy, very, like bullshit laggy, even the game Bounce that comes on it lags! hahaha.

But 4 the price its worth it

I like the Nexus One overall because it has a great processor (twice as much as the Iphone), but I (me) wouldn't get it... Personally, because when you scroll up/ down, the page is gritty and not smooth like the iPhone. I just don't like it. The design of the Iphone still is unbeatable imo... But the nexus is the best choice for you if you want to use its processor all the time (like you actually have heavy loads on it like IT programs)... Check the price too, I don't know about that.

iPhone is known to be great and EVERYONE likes it... seriously. That's amazing.

If you're willing to pay lots of money, iPhone is really worth it. It's got the best user friendly display.

If you don't wan to spend lots of money but still have a cool good phone that comes up close to this standard check out the Xpress Music 5800. It's a cheap one and its good.

I think N97 mini will be better (I have no experience with mini - but I saw reviews). Because of the phone memory (n97 has 32GB memory; but that is not phone memory where the running programs temporarily stores). I think this is the major difference.
