I wish more young WCS dancers had this kind of confidence (she's still in her teens here right?). Maybe it's partly due to her cross-training in Latin.

Just look at Daniel Guido, Steven Guido, Alyssa Glendale, Tori Ellington, Torri Smith, and the rest of their crowd of friends that are blowing through the ranks and kicking ass. There's about to be a huge wave of young dancers kicking it on the front lines and only improving with age. Maybe this dance will get more well known with them at the forefront.

@blackberrypatch Hi there! Also, Lacey's parents were West Coast Swing champions, a style in which both Lacey and her brother Benji specialized as well, and in fact won several titles. I agree WCS is still considered sort of a "cross-breed combination" of a few styles, and hasn't gotten the respect it deserves. Rarely is it featured on DWTS or SYTYCD, which would do a lot for it's recognition and acceptance.
