  • Nyeh~ Happy belated birthday! :'D

Your videos are always so awesome. c: I'm 13, going on 14, and needless to say, your videos give me more inspiration to continue learning Japanese, even when it gets realllllly tedious. ^^; I really don't know a lot yettt, but hopefully someday I'll be as good as you are. c:

  • I thought the same about Koizora....until i saw it.....And then AGAIN i thought the same.I cried so much T_T Great movie!!!

  • Gety an HD camera and pay attention to sound overall I like u :)

  • wow you are doing such a great job! and this is a perfect way to keep what you have and are learning ... i learnt Japanese 27 odd years ago and haven't used it since. i am now re-learning. but love this modern way of getting to practice to keep what you have learnt :)

  • 日本語分かった!!うれしい~!

This is so great for practise and it's extremely exciting to me that I can understand it all! I love your videos :)

  • im turning 14 in 2 weeks... YAY so far i only know little japanese but after turning 14 i WILL WORK HARD! lol please make more videos <3 because you learned japanese young you have inspired me to try my best :D

  • You're only 16 and you're already this good? T_T I need to get on with learning tbh.

  • Your "clearly not fluent yet"... WHAAT!?! All I can say is onnanako and juusu.. So.. So yeah.. Enough modesty! xD

  • hey hey would you marry me? please please ;)

  • あなた本当は日本人なんでしょ^ ^?

  • How do you balance school work and language learning? I want get better at Japanese like you are, but I see school work as the priority so it's hard for me...

  • @HEHEHEHEHHEHEFFY That's gross~ *^*

  • @HEHEHEHEHHEHEFFY I don't wear face make up, only eye make up (:

  • @Ryuzaki1311 have you got pigg ID?

  • @Ryuzaki1311

how did you learn your japanese only in 3-4 years alone? that's amazing.... i'm your age, i want to study japanese in future and learn the language, but right now it seems impossible for me.... Compared to England, poland sucks even more.

  • @HEHEHEHEHHEHEFFY meeaaan

  • @HEHEHEHEHHEHEFFY 生命をしていません。

  • hahaha haters gonna hate xD

  • I'm an exchange student in Japan right now(check my channel?)The girls don't talk like this at all, really. XD Only if they are trying to be cute, or if they are joking.I see nothing wrong with her talking like that, but yeah... it's a bit annoying. That's what I've noticed though. It only annoys me a little when part of the video is her making a =3= face or something. But, yeah. I'm retarded. Anyways, as I digress, the girls in my highschool don't talk like this unless they are try hards. ^^;;

  • never midn its anime talk

  • is ウルウル a real word?

  • I have an idea give Japanese lessons.

  • you soo cute, and soooo good a speaking japanese!!! your my rolemodel!!!!! <3

  • and this is why i unsubbed

  • I have to agree with the notion that she's overdoing it with the cutesy Japanese act, but keep in mind she's only 16. I think we all do strange things when we're young and look back later and wonder to ourselves, "what the actual fuck was I thinking?". I do for a fact know that normal Japanese girls don't talk like this at all, but then again, it's what got her to her current Japanese level by submerging herself, and getting all personal against her is an obvious sign of ugly jealousy.

  • yeah this b***** is so fake, thinking she's japanese or some s***

  • @HEHEHEHEHHEHEFFY also her chin is huge

  • @HEHEHEHEHHEHEFFY you will never have a girlfriend.

  • HELLZ YEAH!!! I turned 16 on the 27th of october! Hellz yeah for us Octobions!

  • I would love to know how you went about teaching yourself Japanese! I love all things Japanese and I'm currently trying to teach myself as well. Please keep up the good work and love the vids they are an inspiration to me thank you!

  • Im beginning to learn Japanese and would like to know how you started to learn. I started by watching some anime with subtitles and I have an English to Japanese dictionary. I know I need a lot more but I don't know whats the best way to learn. I would love to be able to talk like you do lol I'm so envious. :D

  • @SassyCassidy5 Learn to write your kana (hiragana and katakana), and a make a start with writing kanji. Then head over to somewhere like Tae Kim's Guide to Japanese Grammar and read away :) Don't watch Japanese anime with English subtitles - your brain relies on the English so you won't really learn anything (and how will you know which word is which?). Once you get good enough, watching Japanese anime with JAPANESE subtitles (I've heard) is a great way to learn :)

  • @MisterM2402 Thanks so much for replying. I will do just that :)

  • i would like to hear more english from you, although i like hearing japanese, i cannot understand it as well as others and dont like subtitles. apart from that, glad to see you well, ill be watching ;D

  • well guys. at least shes not a weaboo, at least she doesnt say that shes pure "japanese" like Magicalpockyusagi ( i swear she made me wanna kill babies) i envy her because she speaks japanese so fluently at first i really thought she was japanese(her first video) i really wish someday i can speak japanese fluently~

  • I think this is pretty awesome! Despite wanting to learn Japanese since I was a kid, I never really DID anything about it! Looking back, it seems pretty silly and lazy of me. But then, I *was* lazy :/ NEVERTHELESS! Despite you being younger than me, I find you massively inspiring! Because you've learnt really natural sounding Japanese which I this is great. Shame being at university means I can only progress slowly, but I'll continue to do so anyway ^^

  • A genuine neat person indeed .

  • YO "L" WHATS UP??? havent heard from u in a while...jk anyway Names m4ngaM4ruken and I'm learnin japanese right now and im workink it out got a buncha tips from you alot of which are helping so thanks. and I will make a vid response to this one keep it up THO! so young and soo awesome HATERZ BE HATIIIIIIIN HAHAHA Wara wara hahah THUMBS UP!!!

  • really this whole time you were 16 i thought you were......forget it wow i had no idea we were the same age well my name is kahlil my friends call me kai you vids are help full an popolar also i think your cute like you i have been learning japaneses but i still need to get better im trying to get a kamera for my computer so i can make more japaneses friends i am also kind of new to you tube well again Dōmo arigatō gozaimashita

  • You are a huge inspiration to me and I think you are totally awesome :D I love watching your videos~

  • Seriously, people, calculate how much time you're spending hating on people. That's how much of your life you are wasting. Every second counts, right? You only get one life. Spend it doing something else.

  • That's one thing I'll never understand. If you hate her so much, why waste your life ranting about it? It's not going to get you anywhere. And it's not like you're going to change people opinions. And why tell her to stop uploading videos? If you don't want to watch it, then you don't have to click on it!

  • イギリス行きたい!!!

  • omg trolling you is easier than counting to 10

  • i'm not a hater, but wtf is that a tv in the background?? getting a new tv would be my first priority if i was you...

  • @odynhros LMAO and her tv matters because...........?

  • @kurohinge1338

    dude.. i dont have a mother ._.

  • You've only been studying Japanese for two years and you are that fluent? That's very encouraging for me.^^ I just started a couple months ago, I'm actually doing pretty well...

  • Grace you are an extremely talented person and you have a wonderful personality. Please pay no attention to these trolls who have nothing constructive to say >.< Their jealousy is laughable and sad and I can only pity them :/ So Ganbatte! <3 <3 Your videos make me smile and I look forward to them x ^^ arigato gozaimashita

  • @kurohige1338 and you sound like a jealous fucker with no prospects.

  • @bnoble12 Nope. It's the truth, fanboy.

  • @kurohige1338 you cant speak japanese so its a bit weird to call your speculations the "truth".

  • @kurohige1338 Dude just keep it to yourself 'cause honestly no one gives a rats ass about what YOU think. Loser. .

  • @kurohige1338 your opinion counts as much as the fact that you're a faggot.

  • @kurohige1338 How can you dare to say something about Grace??? o.o I'm also from germany and I felt ashamed because of YOU!! Don't you have dignity ? And don't say such ridicioulus things.. C'mon your 33 years old and she's 16.. Don't you have a job? You bring disgrace about germany, because of people like you, the world thinks germany is still racism. And Dear Grace and all people who are reading this: He's a Nazi, you can look that on his profile.

  • @kurohige1338 Are you stupid?YES! Im Guessing You havn't heard japanese teens conversate? they "over react" to things that arn't even a big deal and nod their heads like they are rocking out jkjk but yahh bro.anime has nothing to do with anything either lol! do you even know japanese?

  • @R4F10 I live here. And real Japanese teens hardly ever act like this. I worked in Japanese Middle and High School and girls this extreme are rare. Although I have seen this behavior occasionally when a boy that a girl likes comes within ear shot and she wants his attention, or when a female is talking to an infant. On the trains and on the streets of Tokyo throughout the day, they stand around or sit with their phones in hand, chat, and giggle a bit, but not this flamboyantly.

  • uh...people can be so mean. I was reading the comments. I definitely don't understand why people are being so anal about the way you speak. I think it sounds fine. It sounds animated in a way where you don't sound bored when you speak. :) At least you can speak Japanese, is what amazes me the most. I don't have any recommendations though :(

  • Are you Japanese , or what?? ur pretty ;)

Koizora (Sky of Love) made me cry a lot too ..its like a heartbreaking movie ..

  • 16? (・ O ・)Really?

  • Hi Grace, like your vids <3 are you from Manchester by any chance? 間違ってたらごめんね・・・ それじゃ、日本語のお勉強がんばってね^_^

  • イギリスの事知りたいから

    イギリスを紹介する動画つくって!!

  • you're 16? it's my 18th birthday today and I look younger than you haha

  • I'm very grateful that you put Japanese subtitles underneath your videos. Your videos are actually great learning tools for us lesser 日本語nese speakers. Thanks! xD

  • awesome! ^_^

i love how jealous your haters are xDD

  • @KaiEdwardStone i like how hard i fuck your mother xDD

  • 16? Seriously? I thought you were twenty-something.

I really like how you speak in Japanese. :)

  • うわ、あなたの日本語は非常に優れています

  • its funny how girls like her believe this is how japanese people are/act because they watch youtube too much.

  • @iletya Aw that's too sweet of you, thankyou so much for the lovely comment! ^_^b

  • @iletya they do act like this...how do i know well i live here(japan) lol

  • @iletya It's funny how Japanese girls actually do act like this. I know because I live in Japan... lol

  • @princesspout89 Japanese girls don't act like that

  • @iletya this is really how a lot of Japanese girls are, those "little pricess girls" do.

  • I can't remember the name! It's about this girl who was in a bus crash and lost her ability to speak, and when she was in the hospital made friends with a boy, they ended up putting a message inside a wall and say they'll meet again. Idk near end she runs to a pool (swim meet?? idk) and he's there and she finally able to speak & says she loves him and he's like "I know" then passes out and falls into the pool cos he's dying. Oh gosh tears, but it's really good!>< Anyone know it??

  • you dont have to talk like a dumb japanese gyaru.i dont like the way they pretend to be dumb.

  • 日本語上手だね~

  • happy early birthday!! you should make a vid about life in england, for all of us outside of england....but, in japanese!! xD Or you could watch more jp movies/shows and give reviews? Oh and Happy early Birthday, ne! ((^o^)v**

  • 前より日本語上手になった気がするよ!

  • ダウンタウン! ガキ使だったりしてw

  • STOP.So you are 16? it means I'm one year older than you xD

  • Typo in the subtitles~

    こんにちは Not こんにちわ

  • @Praptolium

Both are acceptable, I've seen plenty of Japanese people use わ instead of は, it's just a matter of preference. So not really a typo :p.

    Anyway, Great video :)

  • @Cloudsanji I was taught that it should be は and that わ is incorrect :p

I also meant to say... I could easily be completely wrong - I've only been studying it for a few months xD

  • @Praptolium

I may have expressed myself a bit clumsy. Grammatically, わ is wrong I, but many people just use わ, since it's pronounced like "Wa". :>

  • @Cloudsanji ohh I see what you're saying :P yeah :p well it's not like somebody wont understand you if you use わ instead of は :P

  • @Cloudsanji It's incorrect. The fact that some dumb japanese people can't write their own language doesn't make it correct.

  • @kurohige1338 why do you say they cant write it? sure they can write it but language is not unflexible. When more and more people start to write it like that there is a chance that this will become the official standard in a few decades.

  • 日本人に見えきました!!! 後、16歳、おたおめ〜!!

  • Gracee YOU'RE SO CUTE! :D

  • @KarenSeguraT you're so desperate

  • 私は恋空を見た。本当にすごいえいがだった。

    それにリュウザキちゃん、たんじょうびおめでとう

  • Downtown is amasing :]

  • あいしてる

    ♡

  • Omg your japanese improved SO much!! :O <3 I LOVE 恋空 so much, I must cry sooo much, even in school one time xD Thank you for making such great videos, you're a big, big motivation!! <3 I would be happy if you could make a video about; how your learning Kanji and how much Vocabulary you learn a day. There are so much ways to learn Kanjis, and I'm asking me, how is the best way you're learning Kanji. <3

  • :OOOO Im 17 on the 8th xD I only hope i can learn japanese as good as you ! Well sone and keep it up ! ~~ (: Oh and Happy Nearly Birthday XD :D

  • Koizora made me cry 3 times, it's so sad!!!

  • Koizora is my favorite of all time. Although I have to say, Koizora the drama is my favorite drama of all time. But, I do prefer the drama over the movie. In the drama, everything happens much more slower while in the movie, everything happens so fast. This drama left me crying for like 2 days. It was my second Japanese drama.

  • She looks a lil' like jessie j

  • @maliciousmercury Only the hair, hehe.

  • まだ16歳か。若いね~。

  • I will start a Japanese language course in about a fortnight and I'm really impressed that you are able to learn so much all alone!! I just hope I will have your same commitment. ^^

I only recently discovered your channel, but I will continue to follow you for sure.

Ciao Ciao!! (And yes... i'm italian ;D)

  • Hi,I am happy to see your video all the time. You can entertain "downtown". It is surprising that you can understand Japanese and Japanese culture at the age of 16 and living in England. I can not laugh at English comedy without translation.

  • cool! your birthday is on 7.10.! mine is three days later<3

  • u r sooooooo cuuuuute XD

  • AHHHHH, your back! Yay ~ ! ^^ you're Japanese has become even more amazing! How do you have time to study so much?! I'm in year 11 and have no time to study japanese ;__; keep up the good work :D

  • GOD! your so freakin cute!

anyway it awesome that you learn Japanese in 2 year unlike me!

I've been living in japan for 2 years now and i still cant speak Japanese!

  • I watched Koizora maybe a year ago and I felt the same as you~ this movie is so heartbreaking~ I couldn't think of anything else but that movie for a week xD

  • I just watched koizora for the first time this past week and it was amazing!! It was so emotional and I absolutely loved it.

You could give your opinion/review whatever Japanese dramas or movies you've seen recently. I'm always looking for something new.

    Nice to see you again!

  • And happy early birthday too! (:

  • AHHHHHH KOIZORA I JUST WATCHED IT FOR PROBABLY THE THIRD TIME THE OTHER DAY. I CRIED SO HARD. ;_____________;

The movie is better than the drama though because Miura Haruma is in it! ;D

  • Lol, listening to you speak is fun. That sounds so strange, but it helps me with my Japanese. xD

  • If Koizora made you cry definitely watch 1 litre of tears (drama) or Yuuki (film) or watch the korean drama a moment to remember, All of them are touching dramas that still move my heart today!!

  • ughhhh. koizora is so goooooooood! it's the very first japanese drama i watched (i watched the movie too. xD)

    I CRIED. SO. MUCH. A;KSDF;LKAMsDKCFMJ"SKXJDFKJAsznDFKJ

    ugh. okay. i'm done. xDDD

  • I cried during that movie too. Like my heart hurt after watching it and I had to go straight to bed or I'd think about it and want to cry lol. Anyway as a suggestion maybe make a video about what you hope to do and see in Japan. じゃ、ね!
