@Oliv3rb No, once you're Level 10 you can learn taming from your trainer and you can tame every (wild animal? I dunno exactly the english word) but no humanoids or undead. The monster should be not too low for you (at least color yellow) but not too high. Hope it helped you ;)

hey I don't gief a shit about Timber about anymore and he can be found like once every hour. MUCH BETTER to tame Bjarn the rare in dun morogh lol. he close to the brew village and he is lvl 12. that bear is much better and he don just have bite he also has a lot of armor :D

Yeah, but Ghosthowl isn't tameable and not really a rare spawn. You kill him and he drops a quest and thats pretty much it. Blizzard redisgned him a while back to look like timber, before that though, he used to actually be a ghost wolf

If you mean how they aren't in his main action bar then go into the interface option and go to the tab action bars then click whichever ones you want to appear. Everyone at higher lvls uses this feature cause its really handy. =P

create a tauren get to lvl 11...and try taming Ghost Howl....if u kill Ghost Howl he drops a cloak (begins a quest) u can kill him for the cloak or if ur a hunter u can tame him.....if u want... i never tamed him b4 but i would like to see u try ;)

At level 10, a hunter learns the spell tame pet from a hunter trainer. Before you learn the actual spell you have to complete a couple quests.
