If you want to see how City of Lansing and State of Michigan public officials "honor" veterans, type into search: lansing civic center and veteran memorial building part 3
There is a PROVEN connection between Cipro, Lariam, and suicide. Anyone who's had those forms of quinolone medications is at risk. And in some cases the soldiers receive a dose of those things WEEKLY. Read up about it online, or search youtube, if you do not believe me. That ALONE could save lives...stop dosing with quins, they are dangerous!! Especially as a prophylactic (preventative)! Google Cipro toxic or Cipro suicide, to educate yourself.
There is a 'left wing' media in this country and it's more willing to take a hard look at the real problems of this nation than the 'right wing media' ever has or ever will.
While O'reilly and Hannity focus on the war on christmas Moyers and others will keep focusing on what the war in Iraq is doing to this great country.
1.That we not send them into harm's way, unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
2.If we do send them and they come back to us, bruised & battered, inside & out, take care of them & restore them to full capacity, & offer them all of the educational opportunities they require.
We, the American people, have failed them...on both counts.
Well said Stephan...we have failed our military miserably. Politicians have failed them the most, but hell, we are the ones that put them in the position to fail the military.
I'm shocked haobio thinks Bill Moyers is not a journalist. While others spin the latest PR from celebs and politicans he takes a serious ook at events and puts then into some sort of context, isn't take the fundermental nature of journalism?
Thanks to Bill Moyers for bringing up the very important issue of PTSD and Depression - "unseen" illness can go untreated but effect a wide circle from family & friends to global community.
I went to the VA for help concerning dreams I was having (My wife told me about how I talked in my sleep - she has neven been in the Military). I was told it was depression and it had nothignto do with my timje in Iraq, "I no longer do to the VA" but I know some day I will have to go back, this dose not make my wife happy at all. Thank you for sharing this video with me, God bless you. I work with my my problem with my wife and the training I recieved from years in Karate-Do.
Well, yes and no. He's recycling things and invite other journalists or authors to talk about serious issues. Sometimes he subtly gives his own opinions. So, I don't think he is a journalist. But I am glad he often brings up things that others often forgot. I really don't have a name for that job, though.
actually haobio, that is what a journalist is supposed to do. they are supposed to be completely unbiased and interview people to get the most information possible... unfortunately, the media has turned into one big editorial, where opinion dominates over true journalism...
this is 2011 and it seems no one has heeded this cry for help still!

All our fighting men & women ask of us is:
1.That we not send them into harm's way, unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
2.If we do send them and they come back to us, bruised & battered, inside & out, take care of them & restore them to full capacity, & offer them all of the educational opportunities they require.
