They will have R160's on the R a few months from now. I don't think they will have them on the D because the R68/R68A's won't retire until 2025-2026.

i saw an R160 on the R line befor at 179st in Queens it was on the F line but it said R to Bay RIdge 95 Street and u said it wasnt goin to be on the R?????

the only reason why the R was using R160s at that time was because it was being extended to 179th Street. you might see one or two R160 sets on the R in the future, but it will still remain entirely R46s.

Same here! I can't wait for the R44s to go. I thought they were going at first since the R42s were coming on but I realized that they're starting to get rid of some of the poorest R32s first, and all the R38s may be gone by next year. Now R42s and R40Ms are being seen not only on the A, but the E as well.

The R143s are also for the L because they have the CBTC functionality, since the whole Canarsie line was reconfigured about five years ago with this new technology.

They should build an extra switching tracks on the downtown section btwn West 4 and Broadway-Lafayette, so the D(jus in case run on the A to West 4 St) can use da F track 4 a little bit than jus b4 reaching Broadway-Lafayette it switches back 2 normal instead this transfer at Broadway-Lafayette 4 service 2 Stillwell... I Dont know dats jus my opinion
