Joan was a great actress, and when she wanted to be nice, I'm sure she can be an amazing person to have a drink with at the bar and gab about Hollywood. But the truth remains, she was a well known alcoholic. And alcohol mixed with a large ego and bad situations usually does not end well. And if Christina did blackmail her mother, wouldn't it have made more sense to keep her in the will to shut her up?
