  • What happens is these people hardly spend anytime with their dogs, unless they'sick'em on something while feeding and watering them. Some people don't deserve dogs.

  • dont tie up a dog fuck

i have 2 pits, 1 rottweiler, queensland healer, 2 sibieran husky puppies and a chow mix....The chow and healer run the show

so what im trying to say is any dog can bite if you treat them crappy theyll turn

  • people should have to pass a test to own a big dog we shouldnt band breeds.

  • they should have asked the question why do 100 pound wemon own big masive dogs that could rip thier leach out of their hands and atack someone and a 100 pound woman isnt going to be able to stop the dog either

  • My dog is small and yet she is still violent. I agree with both small and large dogs being aggressive. Personally, in my opinion big dogs don't hurt me as much as little dogs. That's just my opinion. But why would a dog just out of no where bite a child eh?

  • thank you, jmartin. i can't tell you how many non-pit bites & attacks i knew of personally - not a single one made it past the people involved. but when i had a pit people used to scream that he bit their dog, when we were across the street - it was that ridiculous. hysteria & unscrupulous media. makes me sick.

  • that being said I was almost killed by a Rott when I was two. I see what your saying, I just found out some people are terrified of German Shepherd Dogs and heard someone blabbing about how GSDs are so much more vicious than a pit. It has alot to do with a breed though, regardless of how many pit lovers there are. GSDs were bred for intelligence, Pits for ferocity so it will always play a factor.

  • I own a Dobbie whos 5 years old :) but i dnt think hes danger (A) well he bit me once but i was like gd boy 2 him so he would just leave loool i didnt tell ma mom abt it maybe after 2 years after tht happen i told her lol...i hate doctors thts why ..hehe

he bites strange people specialy MEN coz he hates them lol or young boys any male he would bite ...once he bit ma moms friend on da face very badly coz she was like hugging him and kissing him while she was drunk lol..i think hes a gd dogy

  • good job. we need trainers and other professionals speaking for the dogs. Dobies, Rotties, Sheppard's, pitties can all be therapy dogs in old age homes or children's hospitals, or they can be nasty & bitter, it all lies in the hands of a human. Ban the DEED not the BREED! hold OWNERS responsible for badly trained or untrained dogs and irrisponsibilty.

  • Hey hold on a minuite I noticed the dog had puppies maybe she protecting her puppies and another thing the dog might of thought that it was strangers trying to break in I swear there are some dumb ass people i this world I think if they want a dog DON'T TIE HER UP OUTSIDE!!!!!

  • "Dog is usually tied up." THERE YOU GO!

  • there aint no aggresive dogs its the a matter of how you raise your dog

  • did you hear that animal control officer?! what an ass! he was so ignorant... ugh.

  • He was generally correct, just incomplete. Genetic tendencies can be trumped by environmental conditioning.

  • You're right- after listening to it again, I get the jist of what he's saying.

  • I've known pitbulls in wonderful homes with training, and they still bit neighbor's dogs or other humans unprovoked. Of course, there will always be dogs that could be bred for fighting and yet they don't attack. But genes aren't just about behavior, they are about physical potential to bite, rip and kill.

  • if a golden retriever bit her it wouldn't have made the air. trust me i know i work in local news.

  • No duh their Rottie attacked, you tied them up all night and day, with no attention at all. If you're not gonna give it some love, than don't own any pets at all. Not even a fish.

  • real sweet rottie at 2;02 other rotties sweet too!!

  • Yes, key word in that inital report "...say the dog is usually tied up..." I'm sure the dog learns great people-skills while tied up and isolated in the back yard all day and night.

  • if your going to own a working dog, know what the hell your owning,

socialization!, socialization!, socialization!... most people are better off with goldfish

  • Most the people that have working dogs have no clue how to handle them. This happens because they don't understand what leads to aggressive behavior.

  • You are so right CBALLEN. I have seen idiots with working dogs running all over the place. They think it's cute a funny until something happends and then the dog gets destroyed. Very sad.

  • Agreed. If you can't handle that much dog, you shouldn't own one.

  • yes, in history, there have bein mixings of diffrent species for diffrent use, this simply means they all have their purpose, now there it is where most of the people makes their mistakes, they have the wrong dog for the wrong purpose, and such things happen

  • Totally right. Working people have jobs, so why do they think that a Working dog shouldn't? It's sad

  • Gee- "Continually tied up"... yeah, these are GREAT owners. I hate fear media, it's reports like this which do so much injustice to such wonderful breeds. The harm is in the OWNER's (mis)training and neglect. It's not the damn dog.

  • Word!

  • bad owners not bad dogs

  • ya i completly agree, bad owners i hate when people blaim the dog, its the owner. people dont know how to handle their dogs.
