The guys from Ubisoft didn't specifically mention this game will be like COD World at War. If I get the chance, I'll send in a question to them and see if they have anything to say about it.

I would say rent both versions make your own comparisons and then make your own decision as to which one you yourself feel is the superior version and buy that one. Otherwise you'll just hear from the fanboys.

A note to consider though. Most developers still don't know how to properly design games for use with the Cell Broadband Engine. This means that most Xbox 360/PS3 games are designed with the 360 first. They tend to come out better on 360.

This will be the case with Call of Duty: World at War as well.
