i got to have it someday

  • padrãoooo

  • i'll rather fly planes, more secure and wayyyyy better..........

  • @hileyfog you must be one of the two idiots who disliked this

  • @hileyfog

Please explain the "wayyyyy better" part......

  • is it fun to fly

  • Comment removed

  • Can't make up my mind; Do I get a vette or one of these?

  • @steelmesh do you have a car already?

  • @TheC0Brien nope, just dreamin

  • @steelmesh well it depends on where ya live lol , city= vette , country= heli

  • please destroy the alarm.....

  • guess how many pilots died while flying these things :P

  • what`s the coast for the heli

  • @nick26358 Iit depends. the XEL rnages from $30,000-$33,000. The XEL has floats on ift for water contact. The XEL also requires no pilot training in America to fly. It is similar too this one but may be a little slower. The XEL cruises at about 60-65 miles per hour and has a top speed of about 80 miles per hour. Here is a link to a retail site where you can buy a kit to assemble your self or have it pre-assembled.

  • @BIXELBOY100 Message me for it because I am not allowed to post it, and anyone else who wants a link, just message me.

  • Respect...

  • Thats so tight!!!!!!! I want one of these and where in the world did u get it how much for it and how the heck do u fly one of those at eleven years old! youu must be boss! lol

  • @Xmarksthespot1231 He proboly flew with a certified pilot, and he flew a Schweizer not a Mosquito. Message me for a link too a website that sells these. Also, you can take flight lessons at an early age. I started when I was 9-10.

  • so how much do those cost? how long will they fly before you die?

  • Awesome! So what kind of flying time do you get on a tank of fuel?

  • this is beyond awesome. maybe i'll get one after i'm done flying for the navy.

  • Awesome video! Loved the use of multiple cameras and the auto at the end. My connection crapped out at the last 40 seconds so I missed that. Very nice ship!!

  • I want one of these !!!

  • This helicopter would be my dream way to commute to work!

  • can't the annoying alarm be turned off during start?

  • @AKAtheA

Yes, you can disable the aural warning system. But it's recommended to turn it on when you get in the helicopter so you don't forget, then a whole lot more than just an annoying noise is at risk. It's making that sound because it detects that the rotor speed is below normal (being off) and that's dangerous when you're in the sky, obviously

  • very very very nice !!! congrats !

  • Really cool chopper!

  • Yes I liked the video, I plan to get one of these myself.

  • So u just buy and build it then fly it? There's no pilots license needed or training? I would still train obviously but just anyone can get it?

  • how much is it for

  • @High2Tension

    $30,000 - $50,000

    And you build it yourself

  • Thinks to make me dream John

  • 172 thumbs up an no dislikes. this is a youtube record.

  • @cabo02 you just had to say it

  • Awesome first person camera setup! haha

  • what is the cost

  • what is the operating cost?

  • dear santa....

  • i was just wondering how stable and reliable these helicopters are? im just a kid as yo can see by my name :P but ive always ben interested in helicopters?

  • Buckle up bitches.

  • can you get it with doors lol?

  • God, I'll hate myself for this in the morning... Joe Rogan brought me here

  • im the 150th thumbs up

  • @SHORTBUS39 i'm 153rd. so what.

  • Got a dog in the driveway

  • that looks like fun.

  • respected Mr. Joho Snaider, very pleased to see its video, I have enjoyed much the flight from the ignition, take off, navigation by its farm, the stroll by the river, seemed to me a very pleasant experience. My name I am German Alexander from Venezuela, I carry out like engineer and pilot to me of single-engine airplanes, would like much power to know but on the capacities, performance and characteristics of his helicopter mosquito. i have some videos in my channel, good night

  • I noticed you mentioned engine failure several times. Is this problem with the Mosquito or just "Defensive" flying?

  • what does it run on?? jet fuel??

  • Great Video. A Helicopter turns a one hour journey into a 5 minute trip.

  • What is that noise in the beggining and in 5:00? LOW RPM?

  • @crferrara He said it was an EGT alarm. Whatever that means. Exhaust Gas Temperature?? IDK.

  • pure jealousy

  • Did you say that you were piloting 300c when you were 11 years old?? Or was your dad the pilot and just flying you??

  • that sound is so annoying.

  • which grass runway is this?, just curious.

  • great video!!! my strongest passion is the helicopter... i would never land... (except for maintenance :P) thanks for share!!

  • The landing was incredible. It looked like the tail end was about 3 ft from hitting the ground. Was that an accident or are you just that good? Going straight to my favorites. Great video!

  • You have a beautiful farm.Lots of space, silence. Not like in ours -european countries.I have neighbours 50 metres behind the fence.I see you have airstrip.Beautiful weather, clear sky,you and your heli -away from people who still want something from you.

  • he has a camera for a face??

  • My dream come true one day....

  • Now this is FLYING!!!!

  • Great video one of the best I have seen.

  • what if the motor stops ?

  • Good video,I wish I could have heard you a little better, not your fault i'm old tho, lol. I'm trying to win one .Wish me luck!

  • excuse the language but that is the coolest fucking video ive seen. aweosme work. i like all of your videos. how much would it cost in comparison to buy a kit or to just buy one of these already built?

  • imagine rounding up cows with that!!

  • Was really digging the multiple camera angles, thanks!

  • whats the ceiling limit on those?

  • I have to say that compaired to the other ultrilight models this thing is amazing.... seems to have complete control and will not buck on you like the naked one man helicopters. LOVE and I mean LOVE the turbine model!!!!

  • Can I get this in Europe?

  • thanks for the ride or should i say flight. nice to see up close the POV from one of these.

  • Hey John, thanks for posting. Was your auto decent angle about 45 degrees? What airspeed? Decent rate? Thanks!

  • how high can you fly??

  • I REALLY enjoyed you "taking" us on the flight with you! Looks like alot of fun! Very interesting, that little helicopter.

  • really nice one

  • fantástico

  • How much altitude can you get at 0 airspeed? In other words, could one take off over a tree line with one of these?

  • that is awsome!!!!!

    ty for the vid!

  • What's the maximum weight for piloting one of these?

  • Simply wow. Wish I had one..so that I could also roam around my place which is full of high hills ranging from 300 ft to 3000 ft.

  • what a fun thing to do what is the flight range for this things (for both ways)?

  • Cool *------------------------------------*

  • iv got to get one

  • Smart piloting is always making sure you have an out in case of engine failure.

  • I wish I could afford one of these, what kind of training and certification do you have to obtain to be able to legaly fly an ultra light?

  • @SlickD217 i just know that in germany u have to get a SPL-F license for 5000 euros (6000 Dollars).

But in the USA i think u dont need a certificate, but it is recommended to have a lesson with a flight teacher

  • what the hell do you have on your head?

  • @jessehart05 I think it's a frame for his head mounted camera. Makes hearing his voice easier to. Some kinda box/helmet

  • How cool is that?

  • I have to daydream just to experience this... You're so lucky

  • Great job on the video. Nicely done. Man, John you live in a nice part of the world! Keep the vids coming.... Phi - Australia.

  • It was a very nice flight, thanks a lot!

  • dont hate this is wicked =]

  • I wonder if that is the same dog at :26 from the 180 autorotation video you made?

  • i think it is the same dog lol

  • congratulations you are a gifted person to be able to just get your chopper and fly to the river..

  • how long did it take to build ???

what kind of fuel does it use ???

  • Does anyone know if you need a license to fly these in canada ??! lol i want one of these. until i can get into my flight training program

  • wow, nice autorotation. that took some skill. and some cajones.

  • how long could you fly for with full tank of gas?

  • @ryanjordansara how long is a piece of string?

  • @ryanjordansara 1 hour

  • Do you need to inform anyone about your flight plan before you fly?

Please reply im guessing that you would but im just not shore please tll me

  • A flight plan is not required for operations under Visual Flight Rules. Airspace restrictions could apply depending on where you are. You can find all FAA rules and regs on the web at the FAA's website.

  • Thanks for the ride, great video. That would be great to be able to just take a random flight like that, wish I had the funds for one of those! Do those come in 2-seater size too?

  • Thanks for the ride. Awesome. :@)

  • This is John Snider. If anyone would like a video of over 2 hours and 9 minutes showing preflight through complete maneuvers demonstration with helmet, control, and ground views of each, visit the Mosquito website and scroll to "John Snider's Maneuvers DVD Now Available" on the home page.

  • is there a second collective on the right as Im left-handed

  • It would not be dificult to modify for a collective on the right side but it is not part of the kit.

  • @deauzie So your left hand an?!?. Every helicopter I have flow or flown in (think every army helicopter made in the last 60 years) has the collective on the left side.

  • Whoops, posted before I saw the auto at the end.

What is that box on ur head, for the camera, or left over from your VFR checkout?

  • It'd be cool if you did some autos with the same outside camera as in the video, to see the collective, pedals, cyc positions.

  • how hard is it to learn to fly one of these thing?

  • I saw one of these at a an air show this weekend. pretty kewl, one person kit copter. only 30 grand? tempting!

  • This is a really good video, thanks for it! I just have one question: would it not be more efficient to use coaxial rotors?

  • Is that right $30000 to buy one of these choppers it seems cheap.

Can you supply it with a 4 stroke engine.

Can you lock the collective so you can scratch yourself lol.

  • omg. I just realized something. You can use this to go fishing way out in the middle of nowhere.

  • you can catch em, but if they weigh more than a few pounds, you cant keep em.

  • This is so cool how much does this helicopter cost ? Where can i get one ?

  • $30,000. where, go to their site.

  • Hopefully in next 18 months

  • I've briefly looked through your official website but haven't seen any type of two-seater version.

Has there, is there, or will there be one available?

  • A: A Rotax wont run vertically.

B: I wouldnt put a Rotax in the same shed as this.

  • thats a beutiful kit.although you need to get urself a rotax engine instead of the piston engine.

  • THIS IS AWESOME |!!!!!!!!
