This man ou to be for Obama because:
1) You can see he is broke like it aint no joke. Obama is for the poor.
2) Obama is for helping all Americans get health care. He obviously does not have a healthcare plan because i can see he needs some dental work done.
3) Obama is for gay rights.
Thats 3 reasons he should be supporting Obama. There are more.

This man gives me hope: voting on his beliefs, not on innate qualities such as race... What's the issue here? I see none.
Also, he's merely saying that he hopes Obama's lead in the polls is somewhat due to the result of people lying to pollsters for fear of being judged as a racist and that when it actually does come time to vote, they won't vote for him. REAL controversial material right there deserving of a lynching, huh?

Not sure why people are calling this man an, "Uncle Tom", just because he doesn't want to vote for Obama. Just because your of the same race as a nomination doesn't mean your obligated to vote for that nomination. The man has his own beliefs, and if he thinks Obama is not ready than that's his opinion.

Race and age both play a HUGE role on this election. This whole thing is between being racist or not being a racist. McCain is easily the better candidate, but more people will vote for Obama because he is black. Whites are afraid that they will get beat down if people found out that they voted McCain because they didn't vote for the black guy. Unfair politics. I am hoping for Bradley Effect, but I wish we could just start over and get Hillary to replace Obama for a more fair election.

Lets not dump on this guy, coz every point he brought up IS playing a part in the race. As for the Bradley effect, I'm sure he will be disappointed since the current generation is .... uh whats the word more freakin tolerant than his.
check the polls, whos voting for McCain (for whom I have a lot of respect albeit I am suspicious about his mental capacity i.e. Palin), its mainly older people, whos voting for Obama, younger more tolerant people.

I agree, older people should be respected for their life experiences and their part in history. And please keep in mind that while I'm a rather left leaning liberal (except on Gun rights and capital punishment), but I was having a hard time deciding between the 2 candidates. Current generation IS more tolerant. My white & country god mother whos not racist & treats all black/white equally, once told me there are 2 types of African Americans black folk & Niggers. I dont consider her racist yet she still had that prejudice mainly from her upbringing. & thats EXACTLY the issue with older folk these days. Just because we dont show em does NOT mean that racism doesnt exist. Overt or covert racial prejudices are just that RACIAL prejudices.

There is nothing I would rather see than a person-of-color or a woman become president. We all want to see progress and milestones on the road to civil rights. But there are a lot of voters, white and black, for whom that is the dominant factor in determining how they will vote. I like Obama; he is very talented, but he is the most radically liberal senator in congress and I can not support him.

Lets clarify one thing, I'm not trying to push anyone to vote for Obama or vote against McCain (i.e. Palin)
I'm a "colored" guy myself and I am ecstatic about having a minority be it Obama or Palin in the office. Each milestone reached opens more avenues for my kids to take and destinations to reach.

Although I am left leaning I never vote on the ticket, I always look at the issues. 2000 I wasnt old enough but I would have voted Bush. 04 I voted Kerry, and this year I was conflicted AND leaning McCain until Palin came around. Looking in depth at Obamas policies & researching his econ plan(yes I read both dem &rep econ plans, the whole thing, several times coz I'm an econ nerd) Obama's inexperience was offset by sound econ policies. The experience part menas nothing if you don't have intelligent sound people around you. People don't know what it mweans to be a leader or in a leadership position because most have never been in one. Experience doesn't necessarily mean qualifified.

I agree there is so much a prez can do and his or her real job is to make decisions and delegate tasks. I have no problem foreseeing Obama forming a great cabinet of intelligent people who can help him run the country the right way. McCain was my 1st choice, but I was worried about his health. This is a very stressfull job, look at W in 2000 and look at him 2008, he looks like he aged 15 years. Can McCain REALLY handle it? America has been going through an Anti intellectual phase for a while now. And Palin's biggest asset is that people can relate to her or she is just like them. Palins had a few gaffs but not as many as Obama (I've been to 57 states) and not as many as Biden. Most people think she bested Biden in the debates. If you want to see someone looking like an idiot, search for: Obama Bristol, VA. He literally struggles for what seems like forever to complete a sentence. Of course Obama isn't a idiot any more than Palin. The only difference is the coverage. The press tried to assassinate her but she didn't flinch. Hillary would have broken down and cried.
