@blak8819 50,000 volt bucket of death contains a 12V sealed lead acid battery powering a 555 timer circuit which is connected to the primary side of an automotive ignition coil connected to a spark plug. The timer fires the spark plug about 200 times a second. Google "ignition coil driver" for a how-to.
Before we built this, we had multiple misfires when the ignition source just didn't light the propane after the shot.

Just asking? you do plan on making a couple of 150 to 250 yard shots? just in case your target is more than 18 to 20 ft away?
