Two of God's names are Elohim and Yahweh - incidently both Hebrew. Muslims do not call God by the name "Elohim". It is the name Jews and very few Christians use but muslims do not use this name. So what is Allah's name?

Turn on the TV and what do we see?? Every night another news story about muslim violence, terror and more deaths. Even if those muslims had a pan Islamic caliphate there would still be violence. It doesn't just mean god. God in arabic is "ilah". That's anything that can be worshipped. Allah comes from the combined word Al-ilah which means in arabic, The God, the one and only God. The word "ilah" can be made a gender or can be made plural. But the genius arabic word "Allah" cannot be made plural nor be made into a gender. That is because there is no other "ilah" besides "Allah". Arabic speaking Jews, Christians, and Muslims use the word "Allah" to mean the Almighty God.
