You know in order to get the best enchantments(50) you need to form a cube around the enchantment table, with the table floating in the middle, and I think that it also needs to be pitch black as you cant have torches there. You should work out some piston tactic to get out :P

Shawn if you wanna make your blase spawner safe, then put a layer uder the spawner and then make holes in each side and the put down fences so you can hit them but they can't hit you!
