Second Amp Demo 1971 Deluxe Reverb No Pedals

That sounds almost British. Are there any mods to it? or is it just that f'n ballsy when its dimed? I'm debating pickin up a '71 deluxe that's been converted to 2x10.

@HillBone85 Mine has a celestion greenback in it and at the time this was recorded it had been modded to take the vibrato out of the circuit, which gave it a bit more "oomph". It's since been blown up and returned more to stock...

When did you replace the tubes in it..? Sounds a bit muddy to me, or is that a bad microphone..?

@perfuzz The amp sounds fine. My old video camera compressed the heck out of everything and it has a greenback and it was modded then to give it more midrange...

i just picked up a 71. i think it might be the best amp i've had. and i've had a lot. great playing.

You'd have to look for one on eBay or Craigslist or in a local store that carries used amps...its 22 watts but I get more than enough volume from it for gigs...

MAN I REALLY LIKE THAT AMP! so tiny! how many watts? and where can i buy one! you can really rip out some great licks. keep it up
