Sweet T/A. I got a 83' recaro T/A my self. These things are real special. Too bad your friend's doesn't have the original gauges. I guess its a matter of taste.

This is pretty much how I bought it, previous owner(s) desecrated this rare, beautiful car. This is not my doing :-(

I am in the process of restoring it to it's former glory, the way a 1984 Recaro Trans Am should be, including the original dash and gauges for a RHD car.

I have scrapped the original idea of making the car into a KITT replica, back then I had no idea it was a Recaro. There's more KITT's around than there are Recaro's ... :-)

yes its the same car but trans ams have different engines different suspension different interior..

I am guessing its beter than a hummer,trailblazer.explorer,na­vigator,expedition,wrangler, impala, crown vic, intrigue, gto, mustang, blazer, liberty, malibu, lesabre, park ave, eldorado, deville,catera,cts,sts,dts,car­avan,town and country, or any other new fangled,"average mpg" rated vehicle out there.I think we are just about equal with mid 80's fuel economy...maybe a bit behind because of the horsepower "requirements".

The right-hand drive is sweet, I wouldn't mind it's exterior styling-especially in comparison to the modern egg=shaped car!

lol, its been butchered pretty badly by the previous owner. Thank God for the new owner putting heaps of work into it. Its improving all the time. It may become KITT someday much like the one in my other videos. The exterior styling is fantastic. Such a sleek car.
