i mean this is what i think makes him stand out above the rest......... a master on his own live equipment live is something nobody wants to miss...... but above everything its ableton that does the trick........ its a brilliant software to mess around and when its the greatest dj using it its nothing short of magic.....

And that is why I strongly believe Paul van Dyk is one of the very bests. He's not using only two cd players and a mixer. He's actually working with a mobile studio in every gig.

agreed. although mixing cds is a skill on its on, specially live bootlegs like axwells and such.... and armin can mix soo smoothly with cds that even that i find very nice and energetic when i listen to it. annd, just to add some more, i reall y miss the days of pvd mixing vinyl..he used to play 3-4minof each track mix so fast, sch a treat
