@Sandor827 I dont think it was shot at a mall, most of this was shot in the DFW area. It is some garden place in fort worth I believe could be arlington. Thats what it says at the end of the movie.

Unless you read the book which is much better - you only have until the age of 21. The Sandmen fire the Homer projectiles to kill. These "home" in on the designated targets body temperature. They can't miss, even in a crowd! Their guns are actually described like 6-shooters with different cartridges for different purposes i.e. the Homer is to kill...

The reason the movie is popular is principally that, unlike "Star Wars" (which was essentially a regurgitation of Saturday movie "serials" . . . as was "Raiders") . . . Logan's Run presented what is essentially an allegory of life itself . . .
