@randomstuff6791 I'm part of Skyscrapercity; I've been keeping tabs on all four towers. The possibility of capping Towers 2 and 3 were dismissed months ago. It has been decided that 3 will be built as planned if a tenant is found by May and Tower 2 will be build according to demand. Tower 1 is on floor 92 with its steel and Tower 4 is well through its setback floors by now. Plus, neither Towers 2 or 3, I believe, are 200 by 200 feet as the Twins were so you'd have some funky rectangular buildin
@NicksLocker it's Tower 2 and Tower 3 that hasn't been built to the tower part yet; however, both of their bases have started so it's too late for TTII. I love the look of Tower 2 though, it's the most iconic tower at the WTC.

The current memorial design is peaceful, somber and grand. It's tasteful and it's beautiful, simple and respectful. It also works with the urban fabric that surrounds it. I agree 100% they should be rebuilt, I was born and raised here in New York City. They can be rebuilt in another part of Manhattan. But there needs to be a Developer who has the balls to do it. There have to be 2 acres in Manhattan where The Twin Towers can rise up again. @Sim23839 Someone wrote on the WTC2011 Facebook page that chirs ward who owns the PA will be fired and Andrew Cuomo and Chris Christie will take it over they will then either rebuild the Twin Towers II with the capped freedom tower or build the freedom tower and the Twin Towers II about tower 4 I saw on the Twin Towers Alliance website that it would be deconstructed. Work on the transit hub and the underground parking facility would cease and the site would be complete by 2016.

I agree 100% they should be rebuilt, I was born and raised here in New York City. They can be rebuilt in another part of Manhattan. But there needs to be a Developer who has the balls to do it. There have to be 2 acres in Manhattan where The Twin Towers can rise up again. Another idea I have is creating a Worldwide organization where donations come in to be used for purchase of land, building materials and construction as well as all legal fees. It can be done, it is never ever too late.

@Sim23839 Someone wrote on the WTC2011 Facebook page that chirs ward who owns the PA will be fired and Andrew Cuomo and Chris Christie will take it over they will then either rebuild the Twin Towers II with the capped freedom tower or build the freedom tower and the Twin Towers II about tower 4 I saw on the Twin Towers Alliance website that it would be deconstructed. Work on the transit hub and the underground parking facility would cease and the site would be complete by 2016.

@780VolvoVn I saw that Chris Ward guy on the news. He's the most disrespectful person I've ever seen. He says "it's not the point that Americans want Twin Towers II". "Not the point 9/11 families want them". "The Whitehouse is important and we'd re-build it. Twin Towers were not important."
Plus, the Freedom tower is $4 billion. Twin Towers II would be $1 billion.
I want Twin Towers II and so does everybody else. If he gets fired then he should of thought about that designing the WTC.
