Marcos sure turned some heads that weekend in the Cup race, running in the top-5 for most of the day before Elliott Sadler ran up into him and messed up his transmission. Grr....
Very impressive run from him. Not much of a surprise since the V8 Supercars are not much different(at least not from what I know) in engine and weight.
i was there that day. lap times were well below normal. normal laps times are about a 77.000. also temps were about 105`F
