It's a great phone but it's not meant to be a multitasking power phone for opening a bunch of cards just for the heck of it like Noah is doing to see how far he can push it to the edge. The casual user this phone is meant for is not going to have 5 or 6 cards open at a time. Maybe 1-3 cards if you're for example listening to music and surfing the web and a message comes through and you switch to your messages or email. The phone does fine handling those few things at once.

WebOS really is fantastic and the best alternative to iPhone. I have an iPhone and I bought my mom a Pre, and I've really loved using WebOS. I really wish that WebOS had at least as much support as Android because I feel its way superior to Android.

Its really close to the iPhone OS, but I still think iPhone beats it because the OSX platform simply is more powerful and is more refined after 3 years. The UI is still the best looking and easiest to use, but WebOS is a very close 2nd.

Android is better then both.

Right now the ONLY issue I see with Android is there is not as many apps for it as like with the iphone but with Open development this will soon change and not only that but now with Android 2.0 it take the Android platform to a new level. This is why the Motorola Droid Is Gadget Of The Year‎ and not the iphone.

Not to me it isn't. Its too fragmented a platform IMHO ...various devices running various versions of the same OS and no clear cut answers as to upgradeability without resorting to hacking.

Consequently you start to wonder if an app will work with your version of the OS.

I have not had any of these issues with 2.0 yet it runs lighting fast running more then one thing at once.

If you have not used Android 2.0 yet? you should give it a try because you might change your mind about how you feel about the Android O.S because even some iphone users agree it might be better in someways vs the O.S on the iphone.

Well obviously 2.0 is the latest version and will have no issues but not everyone has access to it. For example those with HTC Heros, Magics or even G1s) which are still running 1.5 don't have access to some features in 2.0.

And only the Hero thus far has been promised the 2.0 update.

Im not saying Android doesn't work well, i'm saying the fact that there are several version in the market with some not offered upgrade paths is a problem for me

The pixi keyboard is honestly one of the best portrait qwerty keyboards on any phone. It does look small but don't judge it until you use it.
