Do we have Salvador Dalis in our time? I think so, and they are a dime a dozen. Genius is not a big deal now, as it was then. What I respect and admire most are people who strive to be normal because it's not easy to be normal. Every human being has some dose of insanity in him and it takes real courage to take the high road and be normal. This is what Salvador Dali has failed to do. Sorry, I guess I'm just not a fan.

Good question. I think both. The question it's that there are so much mad people who don't have the luck he had or they feel shut off from society thinking they are useless. And in this point it's where you can finish as been Dalí, or finish in the psyquiatric :S Normally "crazy" people are very intelligent...more than the ones who surround them.
