  • very technical track there...

  • thats not a ricer its a car made for round track lol on a strait the carlo woulda smoked it

  • the only time a muscle will win is when it's going straight lol

  • That's not "muscle", that's a mid-size family luxury car. Muscle trashes rice on street, strip, drift, circle, anything. Don't believe me? Look for real muscle autocross videos, and good luck finding a Honda that matches the times.

  • Muscle/Mopar looks to be a Monte Carlo. Can't tell who wins here.

    Circle = Boring.

Drag Strip = Bring it on!!!!!

  • Man, racing on a loop like that would give me a headache. I prefer the circuits myself.

  • go REX

  • lol i think its a crx not a civic

  • ye yanks have a crap taste in motorsport. Muscle this and muscle that. It does not matter how fast a car goes in a straight line. its the handling that matters .

  • unless your interest is a straight line, then handling doesn't matter as much.

  • As i said all ye can do is drive straight.  Nascar , dragging and all that boring shit. Try Ralling , drifting or timeattack. At least they require decent cars Hence JAP ROCKETS.

  • uh... nascar is not driving straight and on top of that nascar pulls in more people and money than any other motorsport. So it must not be that boring.

  • Its only yanks have intrest in it. Formula 1 and WRC pulls way more people and money.

  • only yanks? uh, okay, I guess yanks would be people living in the United States, and more than 200 other countries. Of the top 20 events with the largest attendances in the world, Nascar holds 17 of those events. It brings in over $3 billion a year. Other than football, It has the highest television ratings of any sport (not just motorsports). Formula 1 and wrc are only big in the fia which only goes about 100 countries. So, no. Nascar has got F1 and WRC beat when it comes to people and money.

  • Sorry now lad but come out of your fantacy world. Formula 1 and WRC is a world wide event while Nascar does not run anywere else in the whole world outside of North America. They do a little bit in the UK but it has no following in comparson to other Motorsports. I guess its just too boring realy just like baseball.

  • ignorance is bliss for you isn't it? If F1 and WRC run worldwide and Nascar is only North America, then why does Nascar show in twice as many countries as F1 and WRC?

  • How do you know if it is shown in other countrys or not. Nobody watches it. Nascar is shown on Skysports in my country but nobody rushes down to the pub to have a few beers and watch it. But formula 1 they do. Its just fucking boring. Id get more of a trill watching my kid cycle in circles around my house.

  • Do a little research and you'll see the numbers. Maybe where you are from F1 is the popular thing to watch, where I'm from Nascar is the popular thing to watch. But it doesn't matter what either of us like more, the numbers speak for themselves. The fact of the matter is that Nascar is more well known and watched more than F1, whether or not you believe it, doesn't matter. Sorry man.

  • The difference is Formula 1 and WRC travel the world every year and races are held in lots of countrys from Australia to the UK and Japan to Brazil . Nascar is only raced in the States. Millions of people attend these races worldwide and Hundreads of Millions watch on TV. Thats were Formula 1 domanates Nascar cause it tours the World to over 20 countrys world wide and has all the big names also like Ferrari, Ford, Honda ,Bmw. Renualt, Toyota , Merc and the list goes on.

  • That may be true... but that only hurts your case when you think about it. Cause even though they tour those countries, Nascar is still viewed more and makes more money ...and they don't even leave their country to do it. No need. Oh, and btw, Honda, Ford, BMW, etc.... those aren't "big names". Ferrari is though, but it makes no difference when you look at the stats between F1 and Nascar... WRC doesn't even come close.

  • oh... one more thing. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy Nascar, but I also enjoy Formula 1. They both have elements of racing that I really like. I'm all about variety. But I don't enjoy you bashing one motorsport that you don't like, when the motorsport you do like isn't as popular. Maybe you should learn more about it and learn to appreciate the element of racing that Nascar has to offer. I enjoy both and you probably could to.

  • The best thing that ever came out of Nascar was Days of Thunder my man. Thats it . And dont tell me Chevy and Dodge are big names cause they sell bad in most parts of the world while Toyota ,Honda ,Ford ,VW,BMW,Mazda and Nissan domanate in ever corner of the globe. So they are big names. Plus Nascar does does not come nowhere near the viewing figs for F1 and WRC. I think ya need to come out of your coccon and in to the real world.

  • I done your research on wikapedia and F1 gets 600 million viewers a year and thats 36 million per race. Nascar get 10 million per race and WRC gets 816 million viewers per session. I think the figs speak for them selfs. WRC figs even surprised me! Its the most viewed motorsport in the world. Go check if ya want. THATS WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!

  • wikipedia is your source? haha, you are funny. did you make those figures up or get them from the opinion of some blogger's webpage. oh, and I don't think Chevy and Dodge are big names. They are everyday names just like Toyota, Honda, Ford, etc. To me, the big names are Ferrari (like you said), Lamborghini, etc.

  • I accually got the Nascar figs on there homepage so Haha back sucker. And Chevy shitheaps and Dodge are everyday names in America ONLY.. There is very very little of em in Europe and Asia . But i have been to the US a few times and there seemed to be more IMPORTS driving around than domestic. Plus Ford are not American . They are multinational and its founder Henry Ford was Irish . And big names to me are bestselling and popular brands. NASCAR IS SHIT! I I win. So take your beating and get lost.

  • I don't know what your problem is. I'm here in support of Nascar AND F1, and all I'm trying to do is show you the facts that Nascar has a higher rating. All you're doing is insulting me. I have not once insulted you. I'll get lost then cause its obvious that you can't handle that Nascar is more popular so all you can think of to do is insult me, nascar, and America. I hope you find your peace someday bro.

  • Sorry if i insulted ya but i just had this disscussion wifh a few mates of mine about Nascar being bigger than F1 and they laughed and laughed at your believes. Nascar is yer own motorsport only and F1 is worldwide. END OF STORY.

  • Its all good man. I'm sure if I talked with some of my friends, the result would be in Nascar's favor. F1 may be worldwide, I don't deny that. But for some reason, the stats say that Nascar is viewed in 100 more countries than F1. I didn't make it up, so I guess that makes Nascar more "worldwide" than F1. It doesn't matter if I'm right or you're right. I think it is safe to say that Nascar is not as boring as you originally said. Nascar is not boring to me, and neither is F1. I love both.

  • ppl thts not a ricer in the Z hes a drifter a ricer cant do shit and talks shit about his car and though he doesnt no shit about performance a ricer can drive any ANY!!!! car (Mustang ,vettes,Ferrari,Porsche and......so a rice burner is a guy who drives an import car basically jap cars ( i respect all imports but i got a problem with hondas and toyotas i hate them i simply dont know why?

  • Um... the ricer is much more agile. This is an oval track, of course I'd put my money on the ricer. Now put these two cars on a drag strip and see who wins ;-)

  • too many people are focuing on horsepower, and ignoring handling. it will be a different story on drag strip.

  • that american car was an old land barg, not a muscle car, its no surprise the civic won. just because it has a v8 doesn't mean its a muscle car.

  • wow no one here really knows the meaning of ricer..,.jus cuz its a honda doesnt mean its a ricer.

  • What kind of car was the civic racing?

  • Im guessing a 350 Monte Carlo.. Or something in the mopar family

  • Yeah that is what I was thinking, it looks like a '82 Monte Carlo....and if thats the case its hardly American Muscle.

  • @ecthemc It probably is a Monte Carlo, but that's not really a muscle car, at least not a high performance once. Especially if it has a 350. That's a small block. Big Blocks have high horsepower. Lastly, that's not a mopar, any muscle car that's a mopar would either come from the 60s, 70's, 00's, or today. I think that's an 80's car

  • i raced a crx on a pretty curvy paved raceway with my 79 ta i owned his ass we traded then he beat me so it wasnt the drivers

  • to muscle car owners do not even coment on this you are better than that you know what you got sitn outside a be proud of it

  • the civic has the advantage... its designed to corner..

  • civics were designed to be point a to point B cars i owned one they aren't for cornering they aren't even for racing they just like any other ar however can be made to race this car was just better built than the "American muscle" car

  • a car can be designed to do anything u want it to do. example a crx isnt a drift car cuz it was originally designed with FWD but anyone can convert it to RWD making it a very light weight drift car like the AE86.

  • you kinda expanded on my point there

  • This is no surprised. In touring car races, the light nimbler cars would win more than the giant 5 liter V8s.

  • well that idiot shouldn't of betted against him.. I myself could of beat him on a 49cc scooter

  • LMAO we coulda beat his ass on a pedal bike roflmao haha that car obviously wasent setup for that track or that style of racing but 300hp vs 160hp dont mean shit when ur car is 2000lbs lighter its called power to wieght ratio which is exactly why the crx one

  • 1500lbs maybe also ride height and suspension setup has a lot more to do with cornering than power to weight ratio

  • @ecthemc really?

  • look, american=drag, imports= drifting and track racing. End of the story.

  • Correction American=Drag Imports=Drifting Euro=Track Racing but my 93 Cobra would have beat the Crx all day on that track mainly because its set up for autocross i also own a s2k so i cant even favor american vs japan and if i did have a fav id favor german auto over everything them beemers an mercedes are not jokes n i cant forget the lil ass 911's GOD BLESS GERMANY

  • ur cobra have 300hp lol this crx is like 130hp

  • actually the Cobra has 483rwhp kenne bell 2.6s/c gods gift to us lol

  • correction what ever you make your car=what ever you make it example drag supras getting 8.9s

example drifting mustangs example a racing ricer with a ls1 under the hood

  • You do realize that the steriotipical American muscle car is good for nothing but straight lines... right?

  • haha totaly agree with u. I dont like civic but that 300 hp v8 is kicked out buy a 160hp civic. Haha!

  • hmm..its built really low and areodynamic..its better suited for a track..in a strait race, the muscle car would win or at least keep up better

  • I guess that muscle car should stick to where its good at and thats on a straightaway, thats where it can beat a slower car

  • That dude in the G-body wasn't much of a driver, he hung down in the bottom of the track the whole way round. I'd say the cars were evenly matched overall, but that's just a guess.

  • a "musclecar" is a vintage america sportscar no newer than 1976. A 92 mustang is NOT a musclecar. This thunder class car was probably a modified 1986 oldsmobile delta 88 with a 301 designed to drive granny to the grocery store.

  • That makes no sense, a muscle car is anything thats American that has some power. Basically the exact opposite of any Honda.

  • power, yes! handing, no!!

  • well, a ligter ricer car will take muscle on circle tracks but put em on a drag and we'll see who will have more power, plus it depends on the driver too, that muscle dude looked like he sucked a driving

  • Those are some hardcore mountains. Where in AK is this?

  • the crx dont have much hp thats why he turn better with low hp car and the muscle car have much of hp and torque and its heavy that crx dont even weight 1100 the muscle car could weight 1600

  • Americans Should all be shot Were they stand fucking Stupid Ass Americans All go Die in Hell..

    Honda Owns American "Muscle"

    Anyday, Anytime, Anyplace,

  • lmao? ur a complete dumbfuck

u mean to tell a turbo 4 os better than 8?

  • lol @ welshe222. if it wasnt for americans the UK would be ran by the french or germans. you brits should really get your heads out of your ass.

  • im american, but i own a ricer......should i be shot?

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!! Let me know when a american muscle car can compete around a track with the r35... oppS off road we go at 330 mph..wow that will be a hell of a show.

Until a hot rod can do that, shut your fukn mouth.

  • I agree with your ""honda owns american muscle' statement

    turboed 4 over an 8 or even a 12

  • HAHAHA BE ashamed tom you couldn't even do circles properly! SHAME!

  • Its not a ricer...Its a tuner. Theres a difference you know. Theres probably some seirous horsepower in that import..lol

  • Yea i thought that was badass.. This was the first time I ever saw where real circle racing came from.. Places like this!!!

So i got respect for all the racers and familys that make this possible..

I was here because a Stunt Bike Team i work with did a show here.. There videos are among the otherones i have in my inventory. Check them out!

  • hahaha wow american muscle cant even do well in this track? shows u their only good for staight lines.

  • nothing ricer bout that crx...... sounds like shit thow

  • dude its got like a rainbow paintjob

  • That guy lost cause he can't race worth a shit.

  • i would like jap crap if they didn't sound like a weed whacker.

  • lO!L!l!! circle and straight line.... thats america...

Why not a real track RlfoLEORe!

It's not a real track unless it has a couple hair pins and corners children.

  • That crx = T-U-N-E-R bitches, nowhere near rice.

That muscle crap = shit. Muscle is only meant for the strip and it even gets owned in it's own circle. Leave it up to the dumbass rednecks to decide a simple race like a circle or a straight line.

  • crx=/= ricer in this vid.... it looks like it was made to race a track... and it was expectable for it to win compared to the big bulky thing it was racing... and I really hink drivers skills come into play on a race like this...

  • who'se ever commenting: if its beating hte other car it might not be a ricer you douche bag

  • Hay Hay thats just a good time here in the ak!!!ya ray runs the crap out of that little 4cyl

  • That isn't a muscle car, it's a Cutlass with a body kit, therefore, not ricer against muscle, ricer against ricer.

  • lol the american car lost at what they're praised for, goin in a circle.

    hahahhahaah

    NASCAR douchebags.

  • i think that was stupid, they're just driving in a circle, proves nothing except better steering, maybe.

  • Hello zackmcretard13, You must be 13 and not even drive. Some of those "fart cans" cost over 400-$1k and they have some for muscle cars. Do some research child, even euro cars have japanese sponsors i.e) BMW has parts from Greddy/Trust. It ain't fart can unless its over 5" and bought for 30$ at kragens or some other no name brand muffler.

Full exhaust doesn't equal muffler only.

  • why would people then try to be cool and make their car sound like a fart....and yes, all jap cars arent rice, besides the ones that just look good (sometimes people just ruin them) and not PERFORM good are...yep, you guessed it, rice.. plus why would they make a fart can for muscle cars?...who would want to buy them?(unless they want to fuck their car) so maybe im actually talking to a ricer here? maybe not...

  • oh and 1 more thing....just because a fart can can cost up to $1k doesn't mean it isn't rice...

  • Of course they are for actual performance purposes, all track, circuit, pro drag, and touge cars have these so called "fart cans" on them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as you have a mature reason behind it. imo if it's a deep sound and not high pitched then it isn't a rice can, but thats just my opinion here... ofcourse you wouldn't want a pencil size muffler like say... those on a prius would you? llol

thanks for responding in a reasonable manner =)

  • your actually right, the deep pitch gives it away that the car is actually meant to race and the driver actually thought about the performance of the car when he/she purchased it(or maybe the driver got the hint after being beat by a camaro too many times lol) but you can tell it's rice when you hear it. so the high pitch gives you the cue to point and laugh

  • which BMW's have japanese sponsors? i've only ever seen a Merc clk modified for SuperGT by HKS. And that car had absolutely no backing or involvement from Mercedes, HKS just wanted something different.

  • HAHAHAHA we can turn better

  • ricer win again

  • the imoort did a good job. good power to weight and nice balance for that track.

i almost ran my corolla GTS there last summer for the drift events

  • ricers? your a bunch of fags. both imports and domestic are good cars. its 70 percent driving skills and 30 percent performance. and ricers are wannabe tuners buddy.

  • i agree, i love cars period, import and domestic. I drive a mustang and hang around all kinds of diffrent people with diffrent cars. ive raced with some and or drifted and it realy does depend on the driver more than anything......and your modifications. my "muscle car" has only its suspension modified thus far.

  • haha i like how they showed the american flag as the muscle was gettin smoked. that import was goin like 6k rpm the whole time lol

  • umm..the "Ricer" won. Stop hating, It didn't even look riced out, JUST because it's a honda, doesn't mean its rice. If it IS riced out, then, yes hate on it.

  • Wow, both cars were extremely slow. Was the driver of the American car that bad? Or was his suspension that bad? There definitely is more to the story than this.

  • fuck all that ricer bullshit hahah american muscle is still better this dont change shit

  • Yes it dont change **** except for the fact that the american muscle with a viet suspension lost ahahaha

  • what did he race a buick? both cars are POS

  • you're an idiot

    Buicks are amazing

  • both cars are POS!!!

  • Yes they are amazing, ONLY! if your a grandma!! ahahahaha

  • Well, at least my grandma can differentiate between 'your' and 'you're'

    Idiot.

  • Sorry im not from america, and yet I still spell better then some of my american friends, whitch have finished school.

  • Its too bad you know very little about anything

related to this very video :(

  • Also, I'd like to point out that you are what is considered a

    "JAPANOPHILE"

Your opinion is about as valid as Bill O'reilly's when it comes to cars there

    Wanna-be Japanese,lowlifes -- HA!

Don't know him? Look him up.

  • I know bill o reilly, I know a lot of others too, like savage. Japen owns period if I new how to speak their language I would of moved with out thinking for a second, at least there I wouldnt hear the crappy V8 diehrea

  • I'm glad you know little about their automotive culture.

The Japanese admire American muscle cars, they just wouldn't even think of producing them because they live in condensed cities and most people bike or walk there anyways.

You've only seen their imported cars it seems like, the others look like bubbles.

  • The Japanese DO NOT admire the American cars, they hate them becuase the cars that america makes is a disgrace. Theres even a video on how a pro drifter in Japane was intruduced to the z06, he even test drove it and said , it handled like crap and is only good for straight road, he even made fun of the head lights and I quote "what is this little light infront? is it for the elderly to see where to walk?"

  • He was making fun of it cause it keeps kicking his ass at Le Mans.

  • One guy = Japan?

    I didn't know that

I thought they were heavily populated

I know that they admire American muscle

I talk to people in Japan daily

Multiple, over 1000 different Japanese this year...at least.. about cars

  • They don not!! I DONT KNOW who u talk to , maybe some people that dont know crap about cars and they just dont want to hurt your people, but actually the japanese car intheusists hate the muscle cars!, theres only one muscle car thats in japane its the mustang GT whitch they use for drifting, not for drag and no the stang is not stock its heavily modded whitch means all of the stalk crap is gone

  • Well, obviously you don't know anything about cars

    Calling stock

    stalk....

There's a huge difference, if you ever deal with cars you would have no way OF NOT KNOWING

    how to spell stock

It seems as though you're not even old enough to drive, let alone comment on what my friends and I do for a living

  • haha american cars suk dik

  • Well no shit. The domestic is a real car on a go cart track against a go cart with a supercharged weed wacker on a go cart track. The domestic should be ashamed not that he lost, but that he was racing on a kiddie track like this.

  • lol !

  • Kiddy track? Oval tracks like this are the cornerstone of American racing. You don't see tracks like this anywhere other than America. Now that you have been educated we can agree that the domestic SHOULD be ashamed for losing badly on his home turf.

  • it was a vigina track, still sad though, the american cars are only good at one thing, straight and the Oval track, just like the NASCARS and yet it still lost.......................................ahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

  • Now put that "ricer" on the straight away against the same car at a drag track and tell me who got stomped

  • Actually BOTH cars looked REALLY slow on the straight. Hell, I'd swear a stock civic would be faster...lol.

  • [sarcasm]It takes soooo much skill to drive in a straight line for 1/4 mile! [/sarcasm]

  • LOL, thats how all american cars handle.
