Her recipe here will result in about 20 egg tarts. Recipe for this flaky crust version can be found by google online for other recipe sites. Basically she's starting with just shortening and pastry flour and just kneading it..... she says it takes some time for this task and to make sure the dough is more on the dry side. After the kneading of the dough, u need to cling wrap & refrigate the dough for a good 30 minutes. She said using shortening instead of butter will give a flakier crust.
