dude, people can change and if she wants to give life and love a chance, then you should be happy for her. you can be pissed off if you want, but don't condemn her for trying to live the way she wants to.
She's a young girl, that's how people are at her age. Your mind wavers a lot on everything. Its how you grow and learn new things. Your different experiences guide your mind. Plus she stated herself that she's bipolar.
