  • I like this a lot, actually. Its different, but has the same feel of the song. I actually kind of prefer this version. This is one of the best covers I've ever seen, quite honestly. I look forward to seeing more from you

  • Weird cover. Very weird.

  • hey do you think this would be a good song to learn if ur a begginer at drumming what song did you first learn?

  • @EXclan33 in my opinion, i think this song can be difficult to play, so no, i dont think its a good one to start off with. however, with time you can play any song! as long as you practice and work at it. "we are the champions" by queen can be a good one to start off with. the root of the song is pretty basic. lemme know how it goes for you man!

  • хороший! that's russian for 'it's all good!'. ..your playing is very deliberate which means to me 'I meant to do that'. if someone asks you, you can peel another one just like it! you have a great ear and the concentration to put it live. keep it up!

  • @michaelchernikov thanksss!

  • Nice! I like seeing young drummers throw there own ideas at an established staple of modern rock drumming.

  • Good job on the cover! However I am not a big fan of the snare, sounds like 1970's marching snare that's tuned way tight IMO

  • foo play the chorus a little bit different, but i prefer your version :)

  • Why does your cover have plenty of views and my cover got blocked in like almost every single frickin country? I just don't understand....nice cover though! check out mine, if it's not blocked in your country. If you live in the US, it's not.

  • The room's close to the one in the video. Lock your door.

  • Sick :D I would love to play drums

  • nice cover man but try to put some pasion to your drumming.you look like a robot (no offence) :P keep drumming!!

  • here, ive been self teaching myself drums for about 3 or 4 months now, and i was wondering how do you tune a drum kit, and how do you know if your drum kits in tune to the song if somone could help id be very greatful.

  • @Rockbandmann first u need a key for the bolts on the heads make all of them equal and adjust them so u get the sound you like

  • @littlemet1798 So your drum kit dont have to sound like the song's? i got the key for the lugs cause i got the drum kit from my dads friend who had not played it for 2 years and i loved drums and want to be able to make my songs sound better as i play, so i just loosen them off and tighten them all equal and just keep doing it untill i like the sound it makes? Thanks for the kind reply i have asked people before and they have just been tosspots about it lol

  • @littlemet1798 was gunna put a vid on here to learning feed back but i know i would get told to get off you tube so i never bothered i think its quite hard to do when i dont really have a clue what your doing i just listen to a song that sounds fairly easy and just play it until i can get it kinda right

  • Where did you place the mic in this video?

Cuz it sounds realy good at that point!

  • nice played, but you lost some notes from the bass. and some of your personal changes didn't fit well on the music.

  • Great Man

  • Its good, but it just looked like you were just guessing what to hit at the towards the end.

  • agreed

  • Terrible.

  • hey great playing man but your a little stiff show us that you love drumming, anyway 5 stars for covering my favorite foo fighters song

  • i love the way you use the symbols instead of the toms!!! nice work!!

  • dude, nice work!

  • nice

  • are they Zildjian ZBT?

  • What setting did you use on the snowball? I think the second one is the best for drums.

  • damn, this is friggen boss o-o

I play too, i'm in a band. We're small time cause we're from a small place called King, North Carolina.

  • dude love the snare did u just tune it realy high?

  • i mean idk. i kinda just followed regular tuning until i got a sound i liked. a lot of it has to do with where yu position the microphones and the acoustics of the room yur in. fool around with it yu kno?

  • remo pinstripes are awesome drum heads btw

  • awsome!

  • that was awsome dude :)

    what snare is that.

n lovin the remo pinstripes btw

  • where do u put the snowball mic to get such a good sound?

  • damn that was good. I didn't know a zbt hat could sound so good

  • your rock man! 5*

  • Are you using Remo Ebony Pinstripes ?

  • yess

  • I'm going to get those are they good ?

    By the way amazing playing.

  • yeah theyre sick. i love them. and thank you. dont forget to rate my other videos!

  • Taylor is doing triplets on the bass where you are doing doubles.

  • im 17 now, at the time i was 15 or 16 and thanks mann

  • Sweet, and is that a good mic? I was thinking about getting it before. And I do the same thing if I try and cover a song, I just get the general idea nad have some fun with it

  • greatt mic! and thanks!

  • Okay, and umm I looked up more about it again and saw it is a usb mic, correct? I am going to get a camcorder that has a mic spot to plug in, but that's the normal like mic jack

  • At least, for the most part.

  • At least, for the most part.

  • n1 dude

  • thanks mann

  • kinda looks sped up

  • it wuld be a lot harder for me to play slow and THEN speed it up...and sync it....and figure it out, cuz frankly, i have no idea how to do that lmao. im lucky i know hot to upload onto youtube. lol but hey man, w.e. its your opinion which yur obligated to

  • awesome cover

btw u spelled fighters wrong on title

  • hey sick cover man!!! hey i got a question for u though..... i no a bunch of songs and im trying to make covers but i need to know how do u add the music to it????????

  • my band is looking to get a blue snowball mic to record drums and vocals. we are sorta tone freaks but on a pretty tight budget. what would you say about the quality of the snowball? for drums and vocals if you tried? this sounds pretty good. where did u place the snowball to record these drums? thanks. and great playing btw

  • alright. i think this mic is amazing. you cant appreciate the true quality of it via youtube cuz youtube reduces the quality. but this incorporated with garageband or any other editing software you can make vocals or anything sound studio. deadass. as for this video the mic is positioned around 3 feet away from the same level as my hi hat. i highly reccomend this and if you get it and have any questions with it i could help you out. i know this mic pretty well soo...keep in touch and thanks!

  • yea garageband is what we are looking to use. i have a macbook pro so mac programs come easy to me. we recorded some songs in the studio and today me and m guitarist recorded stuff directly into my macbook using garageband and the quality was 10 times better. so we will be using garageband. hopefully they all want to chip in and buy this mic so we can record the drums and vocals. i'll let you know how it goes. thanks and i will ask more questions next time we get in the studio. thanks again!

  • no sweatt

  • dude that was sick man!!! good job im bout to learn this song rite now... and also sick drum set

  • dude i agree, you should play covers how you feel as long as it fits screw all the people that say "this bit and that bit were wrong" i play covers how i feel and as long as it sounds ok then i'm happy

  • Great cover!

Question: how do I prevent my Snowball from making my drums sound distorted? I've tried all three positions, and it always seems to come out slightly distorted. Do I need to turn down the mic volume to really low? I tried it at about 40 and it still was distorted.

  • well, ive noticed with my mic when i was just messing around with it...sometimes if yu position it way too close to the kit as if yu were using it as a single tom microphone like they do in the studios it distorts it cuz i guess the Db is too much for it to handle. its a overhead mic so just use it like one dude. make sure its position pretty far away ( mines about 5 feet from my kit level with the height of my snare) test it out. try the different positions too; i used position one so..thanks!

  • Hey nice dude!!! I realy like that...Tell me you are using the snow ball on position 1,2 or3???Thanks.....

  • position one. i was aiming for a more focused sound and very crisp and short. all the other ones are great to use if you're using the snowmball as an overhead mic because it gives you that "roomy" type of sound. besides, position one is the easiest to edit the audio with. because the sound waves are so precise it makes editing that much better in quality. thanks btw, much appreciated dude!

  • excellent andrew! I love your one handed cymbal hits during the bridge... you are excellent =)

  • shit man nice cover. nice groove. u should look into the pearl drum racks there mad good gets rid of all the stands and extra shit on the ground.

  • i believe you should have fun with covers and play how you feel. ........ i agree

    really nice drumming ma

  • AWESOME JOB!!!!! check my drumvids..lol..i keep uploading

  • great sound quality! great playing dude!

wat type of kit is that?

  • thanks man.

its a pearl export 8 pice set; 6 ply wood nothing special but it sounds great if yu tune it up real pretty.

  • how much did it run ya?

  • 800, stock...i added on so...

  • this is really good.

  • Brilliant
