it takes about 120 volts to make this happen, your computor takes more power then this. The power comes from the Resonant rise. Resonant rise is like a small amount of power being spun around in circles until it builds higher and higher. @chilidress voltage mostly. Flybacks are nothing compared to a good tuned spark gap tesla coil. If you look closely at a flyback in the dark you may actually get a little corona. With enough juice the magnetic field of the breakdown will compress it into an actual arc. Take the time to build a nice spark gap coil and tune it and you will be throwing arcs like crazy.
