  • Thank you for sharing your experience @ this art event. I am feeling homesick & this reminds me of a Manhattan Public Access show. I will watch more of your videos.

  • Did you actually get hit by a car enroute to this?

  • DISCLAIMER:

No art vloggers were injured during the production of this video .

    Suggestions for next program:

James Kalm finds huge bag of money.

James Kalm receives McArthur Foundation Grant.

James Kalm is selected for one-man exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art.

    Thanks for the props jordanrhoat,

    James Kalm

  • 'thought it was a bunch of hooey!!

    I see what you mean.

  • they are using my photo on their myspace page... steve is giving a thumbs-up to my painting.

  • Martin,

props on the painting, but who are they? Steve pops up on google images too.

    The real (sort-a) James Kalm

  • that image pops up on a google search because i had used that image in the same post in which i first "announced" your youtube site. they probably did a google image search to get a picture of you for their myspace page, and just grabbed mine without realizing it wasn't you.

i don't know who they are, but that same picture of steve was used on an anti-steve blog that i think has been abandoned. i don't feel like it's the same people.

i want to see what the james kalm cats are making.

  • One e-mail mentions phishing for models (gals and guys), and trying to snure invites to the after opening parties.

Why didnt I think of that? JK

  • Oh my! Imitation (impersonation) is the sincerest form of flattery? In this case, it sounds very creepy. Don't worry. I don't think you can be imitated, impersonated, or duplicated. Anyway, your audience is too smart. We won't be fooled!

  • Mr. Kalm. I've been watching since it was me and 5 other guys. I thank you again for the report, it's very important to many people that you're doing this. Best, GustavoSaiani

  • That comment about Peyton being a conceptual artist is somewhat far-fetched...

  • As much as it is easy to recognize a fake Modigliani, it will be easy to recognize all the fake James Kalms around. As we say in French: c'est la rançon du succès...

  • James, c'est la vie d'internet.

  • We won't be fooled. Those are very flexible wrists at 3:06. Mine don't. I'm in love with the era and enjoyed watching this. Poetry crowds are much better looking than those slovens that work with paint. My shoes, if not art, are at least a diary my work, so I liked the admission of the t-shirt. The elevator lady still wrinkles my face and butt. Universities should be held liable for such work rewarded with doctorates. Predicting great literature/photography for you. Thanks three times.

  • i haven't even watched this and i already don't care , even without audio and noodles

  • Come on Wowster, like eating spinach and taking cod-liver oil, sometimes you have to do things that are unpleasant because theyre good for you. Jerry Saltz has been near orgasmic in his effusive praise of the Relational Aesthetic artists, (read his review of the Gug show) he thinks theyre the cats pajamas.

  • sorry mr. kalm, i didn't get my sleepover:(

  • Me nether, bad Gug,

    JK
