Look at the term, "free Style" free of style, meaning, off the top of the head, free of any practice , period, there are such things as free verses, which would be a random 16 or 32 that isnt for anything specific, but technically, freestyle means off the top, every time, or else you would be able to go to scribble jam and spit written verses and win with them knowing its pre med.
