So sorry that you aren't feeling well, please ignore my comment on your ginger bread thing because I know it really must be tough for you to do this everyday or at least once a week.
@Jassy101Ms The pins were from walmart. For the cork you may be able to find "cork shelf liners" at the hardware store. I found a roll on Amazon that I think will work. You may find it at walmart, even. Just look by the shelf liner section.
@Jassy101Ms Hm, the art store might have the pin backs. You should ask an employee at the art store and chances are you'll find it. If you want you could print a picture and show them since there are all sorts of pins and sometimes people call them different things... so yeah. Good luck I guess. It's something you'll just have to keep an eye out for. I think an art store would carry it for sure, though.
i love your creativity, u always come up with sum great projects! just a suggestion, though. Instead of explaining step-by-step how u made the item at the beginning of ur video, u could just do a voiceover, explain as you go, or include step-by-step instructions in the description box or text in the video. it'd really cut down on ur video time, and ppl won't fast forward through ur talking to get to the actual tutorial. just a thought! keep up the great work!
@BeyondBracelets You can download audacity for free, make a recording and save it as insertname.wav. Then you can go back to wmv and select "add music", and select the recoring you made :-)
@BeyondBracelets you can voice over windows movie maker if you download a free sound recorder, record along watching your edited film in the movie maker and then add music file to your window which of course is your voice over xxx
@amanda60005 I have this weird thing where my 'first' creation of something is my favorite so I never get rid of it but I can make you a second one and try to follow the same idea.
I was planning on making another one and putting that newer one up for sale because the first one was my "idea being born" so I couldn't bring myself to give you this first one. I'm weird, I know. lol.
@BeyondBracelets lol. i understand dat "1st" feeling. i hv dat too :D ... well, its ok. bt it wud b nice if i can get 1 at all :D From whr i come from, its either nt easy to find the stuffs to make art-sy things OR its really expensive.
Hope you are feeling better soon. Been fighting something, off and on, for a few weeks myself and know how it totally interfers with tutorials - lol. Excellent idea though. You can get thin cork at fabric stores and perhaps some cork look paper would work? Thanks - Hugs Eva
@EvaEvaEva923 Really? I'll definitely look for the cork situation because these are pretty cute. I'll be sad when the 18 inches from the ruler finally is used up. Thanks for letting me know.
I'm feeling a little better, I think. I'm not sure really. I've been waking up 'okay' and then an hour or two later I need to lay down again. Can't really keep food down... it's just crazy. I'm not sure what's up but I hope it goes away soon. It's messing with my mojo.
Ingenius use of something that would of otherwise been tossed in the trash, u even used the brad pin backs - Im really impressed! Yr channel is more appealing than others becuz of yr commitment 2 being resourceful with found objects or using everyday items found about the home I always try 2 re-use & prefer 2 "find" or 'repurpose' something destined 4 the trash...with a little creativity, lateral thinking & some naft craft skills u can create really beautiful & functional OOAK pieces. <3 it!!!
@siren1234 Well, I tried to coat two candywrapper bracelets (for an order) with the triple thick and I can honestly say they are NOT the same.
Triplethick coated the 'waxy' paper very uneven and then peeled off at the end.
Diamond glaze coated it and stayed smooth, no sign of peel off even when bending the bracelet.
I'm not sure of the exact difference, but the big thing is diamond glaze seems to form a firmer surface than the "triple thick glaze" and is much smoother in the end.
Where could I purchase the materials on line?

LOVE the idea!! I'm going to try to make this! =)

@dreaming309 Good luck.
TIP: I found shelf liner in the art store that seemed to be the same thickness so you could look for that instead of pulling apart a ruler.
