@SoronaGenevieve Their entire dance is the story of Jonathan/Kathleen/Cooper. So in the beginning, Charlie is acting like Jonathan, the director of the dance company.That's why the ballerinas are all dancing to the Nutcracker song as a group (like they're practicing/learning it in dance class) and Charlie is paying close attention to Jody/Kathleen. Then Cooper rides in on his bike and steals Jody/Kathleen away...and it goes from there. Hope that helps. :)

@Soon2BeFamous1 only a couple of the actors have doubles.....the rest are professional...jodi (amanda schull was with sanfransisco ballet i think) cooper (ethan stiefel was with american ballet theatre as was charlie ie Sasha Radetsky whomn in my opinion is way beter than stiefel!)

On tope of that, Ethan Stiefel just recently proposed to Gillian Murphy (current principal at ABT), and who was also in this movie ((the woman sitting on the far right at 0:43)) playing his character's love interest =) There are so many wonderful dancers in this movie, it's crazy!

Of course not Christelle. I'm 24 and just started and there are women as old as 80 who still do ballet recreationally. If you enjoy it, or want to learn, do it. It's excellent exercise!

Is it just me or at 7:25 there are 3 ballerinas other than the main one, then at 7:28 there's only 2 ballerinas other than the main one, and then at 7:33 there's 3 ballerinas other than the main one again. Because I don't believe at 7:28 the ballerina behind the main one was in perfect synch with the main one. Anyone else have similar thoughts?
