I suppose now that our very own Krste P. Misirkov, father of Macedonism, will be a traitor since he said "We are more Bulgarian than the Bulgarians in Bulgaria"? The man said in order to differentiate ourselves from Bulgarians and Serbs, we should just be "Macedonians" and have that national consciousness. Maybe if we kept our mouths shut on Ancient Macedonia we would have more respect from the outside world.
