This is so blatantly a ripoff of "Boys Keep Swinging" by David Bowie that Blur had to credit it to Bowie and Brian Eno to avoid being sued!

Actually, Boys Keep Swinging was part of a musical experiment, in which David and Brian were writing multiple songs with the same chord progression (ever heard Fantastic Voyage?). This song is sort of a tribute - they decided to continue the experiment.

They didn't decide to continue the experiment - it was entirely unintentional. This is evidenced by the fact that the first release of the song didn't credit Bowie and Eno, and only when the similarity was pointed out did they include it.

And since David Bowie is a genius, one of his best albums would not have two songs which sound exactly the same. M.O.R. sounds more like Boys Keep Swinging than Fantastic Voyage sounds like Boys Keep Swinging, down to the sound of the backing singers.

Look up the tabs though - the chord progressions for Fantastic Voyage and Boys Keep Swinging are the same, and apparently he had a third song planned. I'm guessing he didn't do it because it would have ended up like M.O.R. and sounded too much like either one song or the other. It's still cool. It's certainly a lot more active than Boys Keep Swinging. At least they didn't do the thing where all the musicians switched instrument. I do miss the awesome bass tab from Boys when I hear this.

Did you know that the director of the video wanted the stuntmen to wear realistic masks to make them look like the band members of Blur? However, the masks that were made for the video were so bad that they looked nothing like Damon and the band. So last minute he had to resort to filming the stuntmen wearing balaclavas and then add the intoductory bit with the band members wearing similar headgear.
