im glad u brought up the thing about getting the wrong color foundation, i recently got the nc44 and i beleive its too light but i know very little about makeup but trusted the person who sold it to me although she was a Bit*ch lol, i feel she gave me one shade lighter, im so upset ive used the foundation now i cant even exchange it:( i beleive im a nc45 too! spec cus i get tanned during summer(we have proper winter where im at)

Its better to use your ring finger to apply any product to your under eye...especially when you get older and the skin under your eyes become very delicate. You don't have to worry yet.

@yolandaaaxo Actually MAC is opposite from other brands. A lot of brands say the yellow tones are warm and the pink tones are cool, but for MAC the pink is warm and the yellow is cool. NC = Neutral Cool, NW = Neutral Warm.

nice routine !! It is very similar to my own.. but I have learned that all MAC is orange based, in which case when it oxidizes, while coming in contact with the oil in your skin it starts to turn orange. You do a good job at preventing oils by using a primer etc. You should try Make Up Forever liquid foundation carried in Sephora its a lot better :)

I absolutely love MAC concealers! I use the liquid select finish in NC45 with my Black Opal Foundation stick in Nutmeg. However, maybe I will try your strategy and buy the concealer in NW45 to lighten up my undereye area. I'm still trying to find the perfect setting powder. I've been having bad luck finding a good one. Just threw away a whole jar of Bobbi Brown translucent cause it wasn't really doing the job. :-(

@evisionaryloveslife if u are nc45 in foundation. use nw35 in concealer. it counter acts. dont use nw45 because itll be much darker.

Omg I'm soooo glad you said that. NC 45 makes me look like I have a bad tan. I dont wear Mac foundation for those reasons because they can't get my complexion right.

Nice natural makeup! Of course you don't need makeup everybody doesn't NEED makeup we just wear it to have a MORE flawless look and add to the beauty we already have. I don't understand why people always say " You don't need makeup" or they "don't need makeup" the point is you don't always apply it cause you NEED too it is because you want to

Excellent job Missy! I never thought about using the NC foundation and the NW concealer before. When I went to the MAC store the man told me that I wear NC50 and this is what I bought in the Studio Sculpt concealer. I had a sun tan then though. Do you think I should be wearing NC50 foundation? Like you, I also wear the Revlon 400 Caramel shade.

It does look orangey when you apply it. But once you blend it in it looks nice...adds a tint to your skin so your face is more warming and bronzed.

I was sold the same foundation color by Mac, but that's after several other's tried to sell me NC 55 and I'm actually ligther than you are. They just wouldn't listen to me. Both sales people ignored me when I said I have a yellow under tone. In fact, it's more of a yellow over tone. I haven't used it yet, but I'll be taking that bitch back if it doesn't work for me. Believe that. Anyways, thanks for the video, and I hope you and your family are doing well.
