  • this monk change my life...thank you ajahn brahm :)

  • the people who dislike this video are the two bad brick

  • How does one go about becoming a monk at the BSWA?

  • @chillwill120 Well, theres not always room for monks ordaining since Ajahn Brahm is so famous, but just give them a call and ask.

  • If there were less judgement in this world there would be less suffering for sure. I recently had an awful experience with someone who claimed to be in love with me until realizing I'm not as wealthy as they'd initially thought. This person stopped taking my calls after I invited them over, literally hours after suggesting we should become a couple. After a lot of insistence, they admitted that wealth was the reason. I am still devastated and looking for answers. Thanks for the great wisdom.

  • Nice to know I can down-load audio and or video to my mp3 player from your web sight. Thanks

  • I am starting to learn about Buddhism and trying to find whats for me, and I came across this and I said to myself "1 hour? No way i'm going to stay awake during this" but. I listened to every minute of it and I was moved!

  • If you can dream and not make dreams your master;

If you can think and not make thoughts your aim,

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same:

  • Does Ajahn Brahm speak Thai?

  • @mattperthwa Yep.

  • Ajahn Brahm speaks with such insight, only winners matter in society because they make money for someone else

  • @Roelisc and you comment is based on what exactly? You might not like his smell but what comes out of his mouth is pure wisdom....

  • @bugatti103 Didn't notice i posted this. My bro must've hijacked my account and put that on there. I regularly watch Ajahn Brahm's sermon's and am absolutely devout to his teaching's and revere all that he has to say. I would never befile his name, he is my vessel of love and peace, a person who i aspire to be. Thank you for bringing this up though, i completely missed it haha

  • I love your dharma talks. An by the way you are a real winer, at leat on my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing your dharma for free. A warm mindful hug .

  • Just to beat the sun's rays and stay sane is a damn hassle. The days come like waves and my brain is a sand castle.

  • Yes, been there, done that, got the t-shirt. But, Id like to think I'm getting better, a little better, all the time. Wait a minute. Am I in a new contest now? Maybe I should just follow the "Eightfold Path" and be done with all the frustration...... I wonder if my comment might be good enough for Brahm to read.

  • Yeah why should we spoil this big game of live by being obsessed with winning, just enjoy the every moment of the game.

I still think the concept of winning is important to motivate people to play, but it is not really the most important of all.

  • So peaceful:)

  • I win. You lose. haha

  • Maybe you should do the next talk on preception.

  • @WhatSayestThou did you mean 'PERCEPTION'?

  • @ishwarrior are you a totalitarian/absolutist capitalist!?Dude in a democracy everything has and must be question otherwise what's the point!!

  • Great talk! One question. At about :49-:50 minutes you state, in passing, that you've been around some really, really strange characters. I'm confused. Is that not a judgment? Thank you for the clarification. :)

  • Thank you so much for "turning up the volume" so we can all hear the talk:) Metta! -Kirk

  • Good Talk!

  • i appriciate these talks, thank you

    namaste

  • great to repeat the question at the end because i can never hear the questions by the audience

  • Way cool, you big farter...

  • Thank you very much. It is great to hear to your talk. I have gained. Thank you.

  • As you teach so shall you learn. Looks like we need to get rid of the word "assesment" as well. Imagine an arena full of people watching a game where there was total silence in the audience.

    Namaste.

  • AND as you learn, so shall you TEACH!!!

    So...UNLEARN!!! :-D

  • @WhatSayestThou Doesn't matter they cheer or not, but everyone enjoy the game. By saying everyone i mean really everyone.

  • @WhatSayestThou Why in silence? Why not cheer for both teams?

  • Great talk! Some problems with the sound. There is a disturbance & interference.

  • I greatly appreciate Ajahn Brahm's talks. Namaste
