just give trucker a break without them our world as we know it would grind to a halt. truckers are just trying to live in this world too. their are plenty of car drivers that still drive when they are fatigued for the same reason the truckers do it.

The companies abuse the truckers. I think truckers deserve their day in court. I have depended on truckers. They are my personal angel of mercies. I cannot tell you how many times they have given me directions. Truckers have watched my back. Truckers are my hero's. I am a massage practitioner and the physical problems these guys have is outragious. The seats have to be designed differently. I don't think they should have to be abused physically in the first place.

Well I see you deleted my comment. I'm not surprised. Wouldn't want anyone to see any desent would we? I'm sure now I'll be blocked. Fact is fatigue affects people in personal vechicles as much as anyone. I'd be willing bet ( and I'm serious) that you've not spent one minute in a semi. BTW, yes I will go shoot my firearms(as you say) So I guess you don't like citizens owning firearms as well as truckers. I suppose I irritate you thoroughly.

40% of all accidents are caused by fatigue? Where'd you find that stat? I looked on the OOIDA and the USDOT website and didn't find that number. The number I did find was 38% on OOIDA and 34% on the DOT site. False information from an ambulance chaser.I guess I should'nt be surprised

@RobWilsonII Dear Rob- False info? I have seen data in excess of 40%. But let's say that I "rounded up". Is the 38% figure acceptable to you? How about the 36%? Why attack the lawyer? I understand there are people out there that just don't like lawyers and that is a "whatever" to me but you missed the message. IT IS NOT OK FOR even 10% of accidents that kill and mame to be attributable to fatigue. That's the message. Now...please go shoot your AR-15s and your AKs and have a nice day.
