the fact that you could stick both plants and land is pretty good, but you need to work on your technique. you want to extend your legs more between the first and second plant in order to be able to generate more momentum for when when you tuck them in for the landing, it also allows you to extend your reach out more. this will help you vault over larger obstacles/ distances. keep working on them. :)

parkour is about speed, every surface you can do a double kong you can simply kong it or kash.

if it's too long for a kash then just climb it and run.

Thats not always true... You can double kong a gap instead of a kong to percision or kong to cat. Also a kash mostly relies on your body length, and extending your body in the dash form can cause you to loose momentum. However, a double kong CAN be used to overcome a long obsticle while maintaining momentum IF you you have enough upper body strength to propel you farther than your body length.

the point of the kong is to get over the obstacle. Stretching out your body will allow you to get more distance, but it isn't always needed.

Aesthetically it looks better, but parkour doesn't deal with aesthetics.. free running does!
