well observed: this video is a "playback". I first recorded the guitar, then the violin, ans then I made the video, and I probably didn't make the vibratoes as good as on the soundtrack.

try straightening your left wrist...pretend there's an egg inbetween your hand and the neck...that's how i first learned...about 10 years ago...try using a less nervouse vibrato if you use one at all

As sfdaggjerde said you could do a lot better by holding the violin up and straitening the wrist. But overall the sound and intonation is pretty good, nice recording!

You obviously know nothing of world music or you'd know there is no "proper" way to hold a viol. The guy's doing fine, he just needs to get more comfortable with the instrument...
