I think it's the shitty cold rainy weather, I'm from Fla, and we are all potheads and drinkers. There are beach bars every 12 ft on the west central gulf coast of Fl, hell I've never seen snow, and I can't imagine living somwwhere where it's cold & wet and cloudy 90% of the time....
Well it was said that the drugs he did finally caught up to him. But considering the fact that his body wasn't found for two weeks, they couldn't determine the exact day of his passing. Yet there's not much doubt that it was an OD.
@KissMeImPunk Layne Thomas Staley died of a Heroine and Cocaine overdose. The mic is called a speedball, and the act of using both is known as speedballing.
Enjoyed the video. Hop over to my channel for another tribute using the song "Black Gives Way to Blue." :P
Overdosed? The guy was near immune to heroin after a decade or so of using it to the degree he did. His body simply broke down from all accounts I've read. He'd been losing teeth, lost control of his body functions, was throwing up all the time. He said he was using like a diabetic uses insulin. The thrill was long gone and he was just a slave to the pain of not injecting. He warned us all he'd made a big mistake. I hope some people will listen. He was a genius.
You can't be immune to heroin, you can only lose the ability to get high from it.
Maybe it was one of those "straw that broke the camel's back" sort of situations, or maybe you're right, and his body finally just collapsed. Either way, it's a fucking shame.
@KissMeImPunk well yeah....but he overdoesed on a speedball....which is a mixture of Heroin And Cocaine.....im not trying to be a know it all...just answering your qestion!

How'd he die anyway?
KissMeImPunk 4 years ago
It was said because he overdosed. That's the most explainable reason.

Most explainable? So it was never really known specifically how he died?
