  • Looks like two FAGS to me. Fuck, "Hurt" what is that the first time they had anal it hurt so they name their band from that. GAY band even GAYER fans!

  • The new album coming out next year is going to be awesome. If what they say is true and it is more like Volume 1 and Volume 2, it will be epic. This band is the deepest and most emotional band out there. Highly underrated. The amount of people who know Nickleback and Stone Sour but DON'T know Hurt is just...sad. This band does NOT get the credit they deserve!

  • I dedicate this to lhssuperstar xox

  • Great song, brilliant music, awesome talent cant put into words how good this music is

  • O people don't know good music.

  • THIS SON G IS DEEE SHITTTTT

  • This band rawks my life. My ears came alive when I was listening to the first verse of the first song I heard by them.

  • Does anyone actually know when their new album will come out?

  • @wolfeman147 "Spring 2011" so up in the air still depending on your definition of "Spring" :)

  • who cares if they are going mainstream they should be proud. who made it a rule that if you are not known you are better.cheezzzzzzzzz they need to make money to......

  • Goodbye to the Machine and Numbers (song) have, yes, a less raw and personal feeling than The (Re)-Consummation and Volume 1&2, but they've trimmed their act up into something more professional. They've become more practiced. This is why J. is always complaining that all of his prior songs have been a disappointment, because he himself believes he has gotten better and can make better music.

Goodbye to the Machine is still a fantastic album, and their next will be even better.

  • they are great

  • Bahhaha, you can say "sell out" all you want, but who the hell says that when they should know that Hurt isn't even on a major label anymore? Who's to say that their major label stuff is more indie than their newer independent work? Clowns. All of them. Commercial sounding music can still be good, and these guys work too hard for some ass jesters to be flinging their mouth feces around.

  • I could sit and Listen to this band play all day and still never get tired of them .. They are wonderful people to talk to as well as listen to. J. Loren puts alot of hard work and soul into his lyrics and writings, he is a true lyricist.

  • a truly Amazing band! :)

  • These guys are the best!!!! They have more talent then 90% of the bands out there these days.

  • i think that hurt is still an amazing band and will always be but with the addition of 3 new band member there sound is bound to change and there new album is an example of that i believe although i think its a amazing album but it does have a diiferent sound. but i love hurt because you never know what to expect except good music

  • i love that i can listen to their albums endlessly. :)

  • this song is awsome and full of feeling two whoping thumbs up!!!!

  • Whoever said Hurt sold out are true morons. Firstly, for a band to be a big as Hurt is and to have released their second major CD with their PERSONAL funds, anyone calling them a sell out has no respect. The man doesn't buy someone else's lyrics, he voices his opinions, thoughts and emotions through his own songs, Therefore them selling out would be highly unlikely, hell they don't get much radio play here, can't have sold too much. Maybe a few of their guitars. zing!

    HURT = Passion and emotion.

  • Excellent! -Hurt is a GREAT concert , have been in Denver several times.

  • Amazing. Just amazing.

  • they are awsome

  • no matter if you liked their new album or not, i heard they're again into songwriting, which is really amazing! i really can't wait for the new stuff:)

  • Hurts not a fucking sell out people, If your a true fan then you know this. Anything J.Loren does is a master peace, From the violin to the guitar, He has what it takes!!!! They didnt sell out!

  • People have told me hurt has sold out with their new album.. I know everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but im tired of it. Bands change and grow. All the feelings and emotions come through to me from this album as the last.

Hurt is amazing =) This song is on my top 5

  • I agree... HURT has moved from a major label to an independent one, busting their asses to reach their fans. Selling out? Doesn't seem like it. Check out my short review of Goodbye to the Machine on iTunes.

  • yeah i saw that, well said

  • @bnlsjane123 = HURT sell out? That may be the biggest line of horse shit I've ever heard. If there was ever a band that won't sell out it's these guys. As for those who don't like their sound on Goodbye to the Machine...wait for the new album. It's going to sound more like the old stuff.

  • yeah, their new one is more commercial sounding but still amazing.

  • Hurt hasn't sold out, and just because you want to make money playing music doesn't mean your a sell out. People need to make a living, and there is nothing wrong with chasing fortune and fame, as long as you remain true to yourself.

This band incredible. Vol. 2 is my favorite, but they make incredible music period........

  • @mrwho256 in way I agree. However, no one has more meaning in their lyrics than hurt. And Wars wasn't that that "commercial" it was damn near a new style to me... yet familiar with the distinction of the hurt style

  • ALTHOUG new album is kind of commercial stuff is great, melodies, arrengment, and vocal, i love this band

  • Every body goes commercial eventually but Hurt is the best band.... Ever....

  • @superthanda There are certainly bands that don't eventually sell out, but while I think Hurt is selling out, I still love them for now anyway.

  • I am in love with Hurt. A little disappointed with the new album though...it just isn't them :(

  • agreed. its like half hurt, half commercial.

but i cant blame them, a lot of good albums,

    and no huge success.

you cant stay a band with no money for too long.

    so i cant blame them

  • yea i agree, but vol 1 and two were written at the same time, and same mind frame, years later this album was written. not as good, but still good. still my fav band
