This looks like an FMV from the best puzzle/adventure game never made.

I first saw this about a year ago, and out of the blue today I was compelled to seek it out. I remember the first few times I watched I didn't hear him say 'or trouble' (probably cos me and my mate were in stitches), so when I finally heard him say it I freaked out.

The moral of this story is, Spoonman is genius, and even more so when high.

So the point of this video (back in 1990), was essentially to show how Macs could play back color video and audio responsively right in the windowing system? Pretty cool find.

EXACTLY! Yes, back then, it was showing that 1) we can feed content IN to the computer (digitizers were rare back then!) and that we can play it back in a moveable 'QuickTime' window. You got it! Thanks for watching!

J - specifically to 'QuickTime' -- nothing -- these were just the guys at Apple creating content to digitize and show how QuickTime could play back short movie clips. Oh man, I love this clip.
