Please let me know what action i have to take to get or download de dvd to unlock the dvd while driving and what are the costs.

Steps to get the software to unlock the iDrive to play dvd whilst driving.

1. Send your VIN code

2. Pay with paypal to zongkung@hotmail.com ,you will get your software. It is delivered electronically in form of attached file.

3. Download the software package and burn it onto CD (instructions how to burn the CD are included)

4. Take the CD into your car and follow instructions provided.

E61 can have two different systems, either it is CCC (older iDrive) or CIC (new iDrive). To be sure about this, which picture looks like the main menu of your car's system?

UnlockDVD software for unlocking video in motion is available for all BMW cars with CIC.

For your 2008 535iX, it is CCC (older iDrive).

you needed to buy some hardware module and wire it into your car.
