I used 2 of these on gigs for years - yes you can program both rhythms and fills, and b/c they're analog... as they repeat riffs everything is a little different like an actual drummer - they sound very realistic through a good PA. We'd run them with foot pedals, and set one up while the other was playing a song. 4 pedals - stop/start...A/B... fill.. and tap for beat 1. We had a trio, so the bass player and I took turns "drumming". We kept all our song settings on Rolodex cards.

Those yellow buttons below the ones being used in the video are free memory slots to program up to 8 rhythms of your own on.
