So stupid, corn ethanol is the worst idea EVER! It's causing so much more pollution then it's saving, it's making food go up, it takes more oil then it saves to make it! Stupid stupid stupid! We need to make our fuel out of algae! up to 15,000 gallons of oil per acre per year, vs corn which is only about 18!!! Ethanol needs to be banned!

The debate being.
Corn chews through topsoil, and fresh water resources. So either way you slice it, it's going to have a big impact on our food.
Or atleast somebody's food. It hits the export market hardest first.
