i dont know why, but evan reminds me of a very tone and buff version of jonah hill, without hair.... i dont know if its how he talks or what he says but something about him reminds me of jonah hill
My training partner tried taking as much vitamins and supplements as BBs he was reading about and less than Evan, and his kidneys started to give him problems from trying to filter and excrete all that stuff. It begins often by noticing a dull low back flank pain. Anyway a clean protein like fish is a big deal, plus you get omega 3 Fatty acids as well, that is less taxing on your kidneys and liver, not just GI tract. A well spoken thoughtful dude.
Canned tuna is okay but it's full of goddamn salt. I try to rinse it before I scarf it down; the last thing a BB needs is high blood pressure particularly if he's using steroids.
evan just announced that he isnt competing at the 2011 olympia. his fiance is having a baby and stuff. they have an interview with him on the muscular development website about it
@axltijuca doubt he uses any of that stuff, he just gets paid a shit load of money to tell us mugs he uses them, advertising his sponsors in other words...... yeah sure those supplements will make you big, if you take them with copious amounts of growth, insulin and testosterone like evan does.. i do like evan by the way :)
after reading all the comments about the Costco Tilapia, I'm still curious as to why its so bad. I understand that it might be from a crappy farm that feeds them shit for food, but still, the fish is fundamentally the same and can't differ that much. maybe im wrong, i wish he would have elaborated on why he feels so strongly about that, just judging on how he said it, u could tell he meant that shit, not that it matters, but ive seen Jay Cut buying fat bags of fish from costco, and look at him
man, i'm really starting to like evan. didn't really know much about him until a couple of days ago, but he's a really inspiring dude. in a few years i'm sure he and phil heath are going to be the top two BB's out there, fighting for the Mr. O.
was that fish and rice?cause i live and die by rice....some pp lsay oh no dont eat that but i find 2 hours b4 a workout i eat some beans and rice with onion and im good go energy wise no carb crashing or anything towards the end of my lifting...
I have a bodybuilding question, with how often these guys bulk and then cut, how do they prevent having stretch marks especially on their chest and shoulders?
universal needs to put videos and pair up frank mcgrath and evan centopani. these two guys have similiar bodies and work ethic and both are hugely popular. just saying.....
oh man, he looks so good!!! i cant wait to see him win the olympia! i know that if he keeps it up and nothing bad injury or accident wise.. HE WILL WIN THE OLYMPIS WITHIN THE NEXT 3 YEARS!
Ok everyone freaking out about the costco fish, let's clear up a few things. 1) Anything freshly cleaned and eaten is better than something frozen, but that doesn't mean that the frozen isn't any good. 2) Tilapia is a bottom-feeding fish any way so the pellet feeding isn't gonna change the fact that it's a tilapia fillet and it won't take away all of the protein either. 3) My bag from there has 35mg/serving of sodium which is 1% of your daily-very low sodium. It's still a great protein source.
I think Evan is being a tad presumptuous about peoples' budgets. Tilapia from costco might have some of that stuff you could do without, but hell it still has the protein your after.
Mr. Centopani always has high quality info in his interviews...
I think to point he wanted to make on the 4lbs bags of tilapia, is that their fed with crappy pellet food and antibiotics etc. to make it more economic for the farmers, so the flesh has loads of bullshit in it plus the nutritional value ain't what its supposed to be...
His a huge motivation, but i cant stop pressing 1 , the face he makes...

@lloyd011721 usually, tilapia is harvested in seas around thailand where there is no regulation on fish freshness or edibility.

Not to knock Evan at all but he is from a pretty affluent background: I wonder what Kai Greene's early shopping lists looked like, cost-wise?

I eat those big bags of talapia from wal mart. Wonder why its no good as he says. I guess cuz its farm grown in sewage ponds in India and China?
jerdawg53 10 months ago
@jerdawg53 yeah, they dont catch them straight from the sea, it's grown in fish farms. salmon is probably a better choice
