  • soooooooo what about new steel wool?

  • I really wouldnt be wanting to take apart a carbon fibre yoshimura pipe!!!!!!!!!! lol :/

  • Good video, but I gotta tell you, they make it look a lot easier in this video! Lol. I just re-packed my exhaust and it was a bitch. Taking it apart was okay, but re-assembly was a mofo.

  • Fuck packing... rip that shit the fuck put

  • This video sucks....I just tried this and it is not near that easy. If your trying to make it easy on someone who doesnt know how to it, you failed. I wanna punch you very hard

  • about the metal mesh packing. how come you took it off but did not put it back on?

  • who the hell uses rivets!?

  • @mxrida56 stronger? convenient?

  • i would have put it back in after step 6 lol make it real fuckin loud! dont need packin lol packing is for queers and pussys ! lol

  • what a pain in the ass, get a 2 bros m2r

  • After you pull the old steel wool off, do you have to install new steel wool, or just put the new pillow packing material on with no steel wool?

  • i would like to know the answer to that question also.

  • @wvkng I was told that if you don't replace the steel wool, if your doing a 4 stroke dirtbike exhaust, the packing won't last very long at all. The MXTV video is a good one if your doing a 4 stroke silencer.

  • how often should i repack mine i have a J and R it was on the bike when i got it ive never heard of it befor

  • im gonna do this with my Jardine. I think the all my fiberglass burned out! lol

  • Why not put the RTV in the end of the housing before you slide the cap in - that way it's insde the joint & almost no cleanup

  • because it will heat up and burn, the carbon will catch on the other side and keep sealed

  • 4:05 ... Hi-Temp RTV will hold up in the joints between the cannister and the end caps.

And the little bit that squishes out can be wiped to form a small bead (or completely wiped off) with a rag.

Looks very clean & tidy that way.

  • good instructions but 10-15 hours for off road bikes

thats crazy... that way to much if u ask me we change ours only once every 6 months

  • I can use that material to fill the Muffler?

  • Do I do the same process for my 2-stroke silencer?

  • yea but its simpler you just take the bolts off near the front towards the pipe end you dont need to take the rivets out. and when you pull it out you take off the old one and put the new packing fmf or pro circuit packing that's what i was told except there packing looks alot different then a two strokes packing.

  • en,, ppl will like it repacking their mufflers, it saves a lot and have good sound,,

  • Hey thats a real good step by step guide.
