As I mentioned weeks ago, the tea party movement is a thinly veiled movement supported by corporations that would like to weaken a govt attempting to protect citizens from its (the corporations') excesses.
A tea party favorite, Rand Paul, accused the Obama administration of being a little too mean to British Petroleum, claiming that "accidents happen!"
Wake up, tea partiers!!! You're being used by the corporations for their own ends!!

Also, many of you think the Tea party means one thing, but it is made up of independents, Dems, and Repubs. Search this site for demonstrations and protest -- leave out the words "Left Wing or "Right Wing" or "Liberal" -- just type the words "protest" "violence" or "riots" after events like DNC, RNC, WTO, G20, Vietnam anti-war, Iraq anti-war, Afghanistan anti-war ... even the word "peace", ironically. You will see which side is historically poorly behaved, out of control, angry, etc. I'm not saying which side it is -- you'll have to see for your self.
